For me the sketchbook is a place to gather ideas, try new things and materials, draw what inspires you. I wanted to show you that your sketchbook doesn’t have to be filled with pretty paintings and drawings, that it can look and hold anything you want and how you want. So if you ever have a fear of starting a sketchbook - don’t, just start and enjoy the process.

It looked and felt like an artist's sketchbook. Especially including the written thoughts and planning or testing of mediums.
I do the same thing with a lot of my sketch books. None of them are officially filled up or done. I just hop around from sketchbook to sketch book, but always write the date somewhere next to or on the top or bottom corner of the page.
I like that you experiment with different mediums and just go with wherever your interests take you. Thank you for sharing with whoever stopped to see what you had to share.

@@AltukhovaMarina You're welcome! Aaand that's a great idea I've come to realize as well. I had artist burnout after art school. But recently, I bought a bunch (probably at least 20 various types and sizes) of sketchbooks to have always wherever I am. Work, out riding my bicycle, by my bed (at least 4 sketchbooks or more), and so many other places I'm going to be at. I dived back in and, well . . . I just don't want to not create. It's in my blood. It's become like breathing the need to draw and create anything has become.
