Nice video, thanks for posting it! I have the same color truck, and swapping from chrome to black as well. Your video has been the best I've watched.
Thanks for the feedback man! You have good taste haha. Good luck on the swap, glad if you found this useful.
Awesome video man. Good to watch it before I do the same to my 19. I've watched CJC's video a hundred times, but you showed more detail on bolts and pins and locations and what not. Thanks for the video. Good lookin truck.
Your truck looks incredible
Appreciate it!
*4th gen. Definitely love the green, she’s a looker!
And if I wrote 4th gen I'd have a fifteen 5th gen comments lol. Not a hill worth dying on at this point. Thank you!!
Team green!
Excellent video. Thanks for doing this. How long did it take you to finish the coversion?
Thank you for the feedback! Well with filming it takes at least twice as long. I'm gonna say the front end can easily be done in 1.5 hours on your own. The hood badge swap take 10 minutes and the debadging took me 2 hours. All in all, with no filming, it can be done in around 4 hours.
I got the front end done today. All I got left is the mirrors. I wonder if the new tow mirrors would work with the old harness. Anyway, your video was what got me through the swap! Thanks again
Where do you buy the grill
hello from syracuse
The night edition headlights did you get them through the dealership or a website?!
I have a 2019 2500 but just with the regular headlights want to upgrade to those night edition! Love the day running light on them.
I would appreciate your reply big time!
I got my parts through a few different websites. tasca parts was one of the main websites I used. There are a bunch of Mopar parts websites that all just buy factory direct, so I'd just go with the cheapest place. There are 3 different types of night edition lights. Halogen, led and projector HID so just make sure you have the right ones. You can convert to leds with harnesses from Retro Shop
Hi it be nice if you put a link on were you got your license plate bracket
Was any headlight adjustment required after swapping the headlights? I’m about to do this
Just had to turn the adjustment screws under the hood. There's a few videos online about it
Is it necessary to remove all the grill parts to change a headlight? I’ve got to replace a headlight in my 22 Power Wagon. After watching this video, I am afraid I will have to remove the winch to access the three bolts the secure that bottom grill trim piece, the ones shown at 7:06.
You can do the headlights without doing the grille and lower grille trim. You'll still need do the upper grille trim. Also need to do the top and bottom pins and bolts(the very outboard ones by the wheel wells) and the lower headlight trim needs to be removed.
That’s great to know! The new light will be arriving in a few days, thanks for the timely response!!
I got around to swapping out that head light. Turns out I did have to remove the entire grill, but I was able to access all the nuts from those cut outs and the winch was not in the way after all. Pretty easy after watching this, thanks for posting!
Don’t understand the intercooler bash guard when there isn’t one,
Just looks a lot better than the OEM plastic air dam under the bumper.
Do you have the chrome grill for sale?
No I sold it a while back.
still looking for a chrome grill?
Do youn have the parts numbers by any chance?

I bought the rear emblem off of Amazon, it was cheaper than Mopar. Same as the 1500s.
Thanks buddy
@@EngineersGarage1you said the side pieces are matte black and don’t match the black if the grille, you sure you ordered the correct ones? I’ve seen other 5th gens that have everything with the same color so just curious
Why spend 2k for headlights whem uou can use ceramic tint to Get the same look?
Because I spent like $1200, sold the OEM ones for 1000. Tint doesn't look the same at all, I've done it. And tint can peel. These have clear lenses and black interior which is the look I wanted.
Waste of time and money
Good thing I have plenty of both.
Ha! Always a critic, truck looks great. I need this night edition stuff on my 3500
Can't please everyone haha. Thanks! After selling my other headlights and grille and I wasn't out of pocket too much money in the end, roughly $300 or so.
