I had read something recently that said if all of Hindu scripture and tradition disappeared overnight, then man would eventually come back to the same things/concepts, because it is an eternal truth. Sadhguru has opened that dimension within himself to know that eternal truth
I managed to create this space... no suffering or stress for last few years. I have noticed a lot of changes in my life, the way I perceive everything has changed. Our minds are like a little brats. The moment you stop watching it... it wonders around poking memories or creating future events. I'm not consistent in watching my mind, so many times, I catch it on doing something noughty. Question is - do I have to watch it constantly till my last day or will it eventually become calm and still without need of control. Maybe I should go to ashram to be surrounded by different energy? Can one become enlightened while going to work and doing ordinary life?
Are you trying to say, you are separate from your mind. Never understood this question, does the mind creates consciousness or the mind is just a machine that acts under a consciousness.
when meditating you learn how to not react to your own thoughts... when you learn how to stop constant mind chatter ... in the silience you create... you can see you... not bothered by anything... you are not the body, you are not the mind, you are... what you think... and eat :)@@nileshk1455
Create space between u and material self , now that needs a serious amount of detachment from our external manifestation and that is not possible for most for all practical purpose … well well well , sitting quietly with deep one pointed breathing is good and normally leads to some rest and peace 🙏🏻
not only that but are using meditation as a means to an end to gain peace but as you say peace is just the beginning it is not the ultimate answer to know yorSelf through meditation is the goal
The word "meditation" comes from the Latin word meditatum which means "to ponder". Dhyana is not the same as pondering. In the western world, when the word meditation is used, it is takes lightly compared to what dhyana is in the Indian subcontinent, or what Chan or Zen is in the oriental subcontinent.
Are you in other words telling us to completely let go of our fears and insecurities? How will we know we are finally in a constant meditative state when this happens?
Self induced Psychosomatic dimensions. Nothing to do with Meditation , Dhyana. Not unique to a particular situation but an euphoria resulting from extreme submissiveness and belief.
It is a transmission of energy or activation of some energy. I would say, it is like a shock, when you get shock the body trembles or thrown off. Same way, it behaves differently while receiving the energy. You don't have yo belive anything, just do #innerengineering and do it everyday consistently and you can experience it.
@@Sadhgurutales u started to answer like chadguru....he never answers the question....by the way it was a State ment...and "hello"due to dimension issues I can't see answers here ....and don't teach me questions are the answers
1st. English word meditation is very significant. it means you are in the middle. Dhyana is much better, but meditation has its merit too. In the middle of what? you may ask. in the middle of inside and outside, in the middle of what you can do as a seeker and what you cannot do. in the middle of the threshold of coming back and not coming back. and so on. 2nd. you cannot do Dhyana, you cannot do Samadhi, you can be in Dhyana, you can be in Samadhi, but you cannot do it. let me give you a definition. Meditation/ Dhyana is where you are not, and still there is awareness. In meditation there might or might not be and object, and there is an observation. what is not there is a subject. In Samadhi, there might or might not be an object, but that is all there is. even observation is gone if there is an object. if there is no object, there is a pure observation that has nothing to observe. so it observe itself instead. it is like a mirror that reflects nothing and yet it reflects itself. 3rd. Samyama happens when Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi are combined with the object. again, all you can do is Dharana, rest might or might not come, you cannot do it. finally you are making some sense. you cannot do meditation, because it is a quality of your being. 4th. Dhayna is a consequence of a process most of the time, but not always. why? because it is a happening. and as such it can happen spontaneously as well. in fact, there is no other way. it happens to children all the time. they will loose this ability, sure, and then the process will need to start to come back. it is not about what you do, it is about if you are there or not. say, you are dancing and suddenly ( because of your intensity) dancer disappears, and only the dance remain - you have enetered, maybe for a brief moment the dimension of Dhyana. I repeat - no matter what you do, what are the circumstances, Meditation/Dhyana happens when you are not, and yet awareness is there. 5th. let me give you another definition of meditation. Meditation happens when all the noise in the space between your 2 ears is gone. in that silence - meditation happens. that silence is meditation. who is making the noise? you are. with you gone, silence is a natural state of being. with or without an object. 5th. creating a distance between observation and observed is not meditation, it is a step (crucial one) towards meditation. 6th. what I don't get is Sadhguru's obsession with beginners and general audience. it is like he is copying the nature in a sense of numbers. Nature works through big numbers/quantity, so that a few lucky ones can make it. in my eyes, spirituality doesn't work that way. I'm not saying that it should be an elite kind of game, it is for everyone who is sincere enough to seek, but what matters is quality, not quantity. Depth, not the surface. millions of mediocre practitioners will make no difference at all. One single Buddha will make all the difference.
So you're teaching Sadhguru about spirituality😂. Look what's behind him in the video, that is a seven chakras consecrated Dhyanlinga and there is only one like this in the world. Only a chakreshwar can do that, and he is one.
@@thesomebody7661 I want you and your alikes stop being monkeys and think for yourself. enlightened he might be, but he is often talking BS or too populistic for my taste and then I point it out. that's all.
That's not an incident, I noticed similar situations watching some of his talks. This guy presents himself as a loving and caring teacher but every now and then he forgets that role and his true nasty, condescending and hurtful self is showing. I remember a woman from the audience who asked a sincere question about the suffering of milk cows, and he just made fun of her and treated her with so much contempt that it was just painful to watch. Who needs a "guru" anyway. Enlightenment is a male fantasy. Start thinking instead of following charlatans.
