I live in UK and once did an Easter Craft Fair at a nearby community centre and NOT ONE customer walked through the doors! 😱 There were about 20 sellers ….. we all spent 4 hours watching those doors 😵💫 Turns out it wasn’t advertised UNTIL the day of the sale….no polite words could describe how we all felt. 😠 We did get our money back, eventually
So you know my pain! I pulled out of the other two markets I had signed up for here and will not return. I think I gave them enough tries!! 🦋💖

Its always hard to choose which markets to do. Could you do both of them? I have done a lot of markets where they have not advertised. I always ask what advertising is for the markets now. If they say just social media I do not do them. Signs are always are a big helper for fairs up here.
Thats a lot for a little lobster roll. They are still strong here in Nh. We are getting in gear for bike week here now. They are expecting more this year in attendance than last couple of years. Love your plushies.

Hi Sue so sorry about your market again. Maybe talk with your husband and family to get there option. What are the rules for advertising , for yourself. Sue, i honestly think you should cut your tie with this vendor. The only person that is making any money on this deal is him. Im sure he isn't advertising for you guys. I cant wait to see your October market. I had my first summer market last Saturday. And we did absolutely wonderful. My next one is this 8th and 9th of june. Tfs jen in south dakota!
I'm actually not making any money. I do advertise for the market. It isn't my responsibility to advertise for the vendors, that's on them. I have ads that show over 10k views. I'm also on the channel 8 and 9 event calendar and on Tampa Bay times. I have the market in many places. So after the room rent and ads their isn't money left really. It never was about the money but about community building.
So glad you had a great market. Summer is not a good time for markets in Florida, too darn hot! I’m going to concentrate on the fall!🦋💖

I too am sorry you didn’t do well but please don’t down the market. We all work hard to get people to come out and some of us enjoy the market. The people are great and in every market you participate in, there is never a guarantee you’ll do well. You are only discouraging people to come out and that’s simply not nice.
How could you possibly think my video would discourage anyone from going to that market since 99% of my viewers are not from Florida? Accusing me of that is simply not nice!
