I always thought KC was a huge part of GMG. Very funny and talented. IMO, a huge loss to the show. Such a great personality. I wish him all the best no matter what he wants to do as he always made me smile. Very charismatic.
Looked crowded inside lol. I guess the small shop has smaller overhead. Also he works only on projects he likes as oppose to taking on projects just to cover expenses.
Now I just want to go to the shop to go to that restroom!!!!!!!......lol!!.....after I’m done go around the shop and turn on all of the air hoses to see if the compressors can keep up!!

While working in dealerships for 25 years couldn’t stand dirty floors, swept and mooed after every job, bench wiped down, walls washed down. Guys who tracked their sludge through my area got spark plugs aimed at their head. Really miss the regular show but every couple of months with one detail of one build would be enough. BTW, spent an entire year on a repaint for my daughter, old 95 BMW 525i. Every time I primed a new blocked found something else BUT the result in the dark metallic green was great! Ain’t no Earl Schib’s. Not sure who remembers that or if I spelled it right but “any car, any color $89.95”. Thanks again for the update, wish I could work there with you, seems we have the same mind when it comes to work and cars.

As a fellow paint wiz I love how you explain everything from ventilation to lighting and constant air pressure because most people don't know or understand that's all these elements affect how you work and eliminating as much obstruction as possible. I love it bro.

The camera being used to film either has an awful rolling shutter or they not doubling the shutter speed for whatever the FPS they're shooting 1/50 (24fps), 1/60 (30fps), 1/125 (60 fps) should be what you're filming at. The values I listed are the most common on my cameras some do have the exact double value. You can tell do to that wobble, blur that you're getting in the video that something is set wrong.

I painted professionally for 15yrs one place was AMGENERAL painting commercial and military Hummers and Humvees. And about 300 cars and trucks. Now after 5 totaled car wrecks and my Harley totalled with me on it. I am unable to paint and body anything. Best of in your business. Northwest Indiana bench racer. D
Dig the shop! I love the way he broke down the expenses at the end. I have been building cars for a living for years , and even I have trouble digesting the expenses. Its like the bar is always being raised and its easy to get left behind. Mad respect for KC. I can tell he's had some hard lessons learned by the way he talks. I can relate to him.
People really have no idea how many hours we spend painting a car... Restoring a rare 69 Camaro right now - -I have 250 hours in panel replacement and rust repair on a customer's car right now. - with a least another 100-150 hours to finish the paint. Then 300 hours to assemble it. So it will be somewhere close to a 70k labor bill. I basically tell someone if the car isn't going to be worth 125-150k you probably can't justify me doing it.
Well back to poor boy build on my 67 Ford f100 ... I got 6700.00 in and need another 4000.00 lol....but I'll be hella happy. Lol speeds not important to me... I just want dependable and cool....but I like your shop...style and all

I have severe crohns disease polysorbate80 in the mmr vaccine gave it to me put me in a coma for over month docs swore I was to die they kept trying to get mom to pull plug I'd be brain dead damaged still sharp as a tac. But I was so malnutritioned I had heart attack and have 2 stents to go with my 2 colostomy bags and broke my back In 3 spot just from walking and have really bad pyraderma skin condition CAUSED by Crohn's disease and horrible arthritis some days cant walk. But some days you just got to push through never give up its is no joke it's a daily struggle. I wish I was healthy enough to finish the work on my miata if I ever move to Texas I'll have you do the paint you alway did good work on the gas monkey show. I just found your channel here

All body shops make their money from insurance work. Run away from rust and restorations. Some dealerships are only surviving off the body shop. Good body work doesnt happen in a week. Leaving gmg best move ever.

Dude is dope but any person with a tad bit of business sense knows that if they're pushing for time and material its so they can throttle the money a little and dodge having to bid hard dollar to remove all risk from them. Bid a few jobs on lump sum and watch those guys around the shop step it up a little.
