6 pm JST is brutal for most American tourists; that’s 4 am CST 3 am MST and 2 am PST, 5 am EST. I’m pulling an All nighter to be up to try my luck here in CST at 4 am. Wish me luck, I REALLY wanna go :3
this is by far the most comprehensive videos detailing options to reserve the kirby cafe. thumbs up! for those who wanted to snag the reservation, the spots are hard and requires a lot of determination (a lot of mouse clicking) but very much possible. once you hit the 6PM JST, you need to be firm and fast with the chosen date as it will be “locked” the moment the user clicks on it, choose fast or else you have to wait 10 minutes (1810 JST) to get the released slot if the said user did not go through with the reservation. good luck everyone! 🎉
@@KenshoQuest yay thats so exciting! lately i see the cafe constant availability like the day or week before… but im really looking forward to see your video because its one of the toughest placest to book. keep on creating awesome content 💜
Oh my gosh i've heard SO much about this cafe but haven't ever seen inside! It's on our bucketlist of places our kids want to see in Tokyo so thanks for the glimpse inside!
Just wanted to say thanks! I just successfully reserved for my party of 6🤩 your video was super helpful. My son is going to be so happy. After I got my reservation email, I went back to check the website and everything was already fully booked at 18.03 JST !!!😲
Hey, just wanted to say thank you for your videos about traveling in Japan, they've been super helpful, and I would have never landed a reservation at Kirby Cafe if it hadn't been for this video!
What a sweet family moment, you guys put a smile on my face! I just made a reservation for me and my sister as the November spots opened today. Was so nervous the whole time, it's wild how fast they fill up!!
Yall are back in JP. Your daughter is soo cute, love the way she talk :)) She should be the star in your channel! We'll be in JP in 10 days for 1 month.
Thank you!! This was very helpful :) Do I need to have a my name in katakana on hand? I tried for a different restaurant reservation and it wouldn't take it (don't know if name converter was wrong). And I'm planning to provide hotel number. Thanks again! Hopefully we'll also score resys for my party of 5!
HI, so glad it was helpful! You can write in katakana but it will take English as well. It's not as strict as Pokemon cafe! Hotel number should work fine. Good luck, you'll have a great time :)
@@KenshoQuest it was truly a war on the website; one wrong click and you can just lose your chance. Glad I got in, and will be keeping an eye on cancellations to try and get the fall menu that ends 11/5!
Thank you for the clip. My kids love Kirby and I want to surprise them with this cafe. I tried to make reservation online just now at 6pm Tokyo time. It did work. But it requires a cellphone number to finalize the booking and I do not have a Japanese number. Can you advise on this?
I always loved passing by the Kirby Cafe with my son when we visited Solamachi! Do you guys have a video that covers why you ended up going back to Japan instead of staying in Malaysia? Last time I checked in, you had been approved for De Rantau.
We will go back to Malaysia and stay for a year, after our 3 month trip to Japan. It was a good opportunity for us to visit Japan again, which is one of our favorite countries.
My son is so bummed out! He wants to go to pokemon and Kirby cafe but we can’t get a spot and we are headed to Japan for our first trip soon. It’s good your kids got to go though, their reactions were adorable and priceless :) Most who post videos don’t even have a kid which is fine but are most influencers taking up spots and probably bots too I’m guessing.
Hi, please keep trying for Kirby, spots open up. Pokemon is much more difficult unless you are going to Osaka as well. If you don't get to go, don't worry there are tons of other cute anime stuff everywhere.
Look forward to experiencing this... but do people in other countries lounge in a restaurant for over 90 minutes??? Unless they are under-staffed, we've never intentionally stayed at any restaurant (around the world) for that long for a non-event. Just odd.
hello! i’ve always wanted to go to this cafe, but do you HAVE to know Japanese in order to go? i know it would be quite beneficial to know a few words and phrases, but would someone be able to successfully go if their Japanese was very limited / nonexistent? does the menu have any english text on it?
Hi, you will have no problem. All of the staff we encountered spoke a little english and the waiter was near fluent. They do have English menus as well.
When it asks for my name in Furigana, do I just state my name again? And for the phone number, I live in the U.S., is it ok to put my number with a 1 in front?
@KenshoQuest hi. The reservations were gone in 5 minutes. We wrote the furigana part in english. I hope that's not an issue. We did get the email confirming our reservation. My family of 4, we all went online to reserve, only one of us got a reservation. So we're happy to get one. Thank you for your video, it helped us so much.
Hi, correct that all the reservations are full for July. However, it is still very possible to get reservations by using the second method we discuss in the video. That is to check the reservation page regularly when your desired date gets near. If you have a small group you have a much better chance. Please check the reservation page after 10:00 pm for best options and check often. Good luck!

Yes, there is! We show the full menu starting at 08:57.
I see a future chemist. Never heard of Kirby, but it's harder to get a reservation than it is at the French Laundry.😂

Can you walk in?
Only if someone cancels that day and there is an opening. They do offer a take-out menu.
@@KenshoQuest is it worth the risk to walk in? Were there many waiting for walk in?
@@ShadowRap-y5l It’s a very slim chance that you will get seated without a reservation.
We agree, very slim chance of getting in. It's getting more and more crowded in Japan every day.
Hi! Can we get take outs if we're unable to score a reservation?
They do offer a Takeout menu, which is slightly different than the menu for dining in. Here's the website with info: kirbycafe.jp/tokyo/
Bro it got booked soo quickly. Only took like 30 seconds
