My little Chewie IS every Wicklow stereotype. My husband and I thought our lives were perfect. Kids grew up great we have grandchildren. We’re semi retired. Then came Chewie. Oh wow! We had no idea that we were missing anything. Chewie has enhanced our lives beyond measure. And our yard will never have moles again. It’s insane how she digs them out. I’ve had just a few dogs in my life, Chewie is the best. I love how she lays in my arms every night for her rubs. She looks in my eyes like no living creature ever has. We just sit and stare and love. Oh no, I’m just realizing I’m one of those weird dog moms that “worships” their dog. Oh well, I’m good with it!
I bought a mixed breed puppy who is now 3 years old. Though a DNA test did not indicate a Glennie, he looks identical to several in the video. Every trait or visual characteristic down to the Wicklow sit. He will often stand upright and walk in the yard which has cause to slow down while driver wondered what they were seeing. Named him Morpho (blue brindle) after the blue Morpho butterfly.
