I used to own this album and loads of other great reggae albums which I sold off to pay for something. You can't get many of them anymore. Where have all the reggae outlets gone? When I lived in Forest Gate I could walk to them on a Saturday afternoon down Green Street and Manor Park. The modern age is shit it has no soul.

So true bro! And it has become like that in many other parts of the world. In my home city a reggae band would play the main flea market twice a week. It was great!

My introduction to reggae was via a Mr Don Letts. He used to DJ at the Roxy punk club in the mid-70s. Strange when I look back at all us supposedly anarchic skinny white kids jumping about hearing this deep roots reggae music in some filthy little club in Covent Garden or wherever it was. Jah moves in mysterious ways me thinks.

thanks for share your memories about those times... i started with punk too and now i love two genres but defintlly reggae is my favorite since some years ago...i started with fittest of the fittest burning spear song,,,that song blew my mind and started search more and more about UK / JAM reggae.Bless up

When i first got this album back in 1976, it was my first ever dub alum untill, 6 months later i lent it to a friend on a monday, the next day when he was at work, he was burgled! Yes you guessed it, my album was stolen. it's funny how some rare reggae songs are re released, but not this album! Bredrin thanks for the upload of this rare dub album, and boy what a title for an album! lol

Fitzgerald Jahlion the cornerstone of any dub collection, I think, some would disagree . Dubs come and go, some of the modern mixes I can’t even listen to. Learn your craft, and the art of channel separation, don’t be a rass claat step one starts with this album. Just me though....

@@mickyp4 ..With its wide range of tracks _David Jahsons natty barber , Leroy Smart, Fred locks , the Cimarons & what sounds like Lee Perry& Jacob Millers take on 'tenement yard' I would guess 'various engineers' in various studios .if it did have a 'final mix down' then possibly Mervyn Williams, who mixed Ras Michael & sons of negus 'Rastafari dub'...or Errol Brown possibly?
