But I'm not sure why you felt the need to share it on a thread that was positive & happy. As women, we judge ourselves harshly enough and should not have to worry about anyone taking pot shots from the sidelines - especially when stepping outside our comfort zones to provide guidance to others. More importantly, there is zero reason for anyone to belittle the surface without knowing the depths. Makeup or no makeup, beauty ultimately is defined by more than the physical.

So we are in endless pursuit of a perfection that does not exist and thereby perpetuating our own oppression. Tragic, really. I think as we get older we care less about what others think. But to be young today with so many social media platforms showing girls impossible standards as if those standards are easy and normal must be incredibly hard on the self-esteem. Here in America, it's pretty normal for girls to spend an hour or more on just their day to day makeup. The contouring, the baking, the setting, the fake lashes, the overdrawn lips and who knows what else. I, myself, cannot fathom putting forth so much effort for a trip to the grocery store or even going into work. For special events only, I maybe spend 20 minutes on makeup AND hair. No patience for anything else. I do prefer lighter or no makeup, myself. But I understand why others would prefer more. As for the makeup worn in this video....in the US she might as well be barefaced. She wears her makeup well but I believe is objectively beautiful whether she wears any or not. My opinion.🥰 Have you watched any American makeup tutorials btw? The difference is amazing. I defintely agree that beauty comes from within. If I find someone to be foul in nature, I don't care if they are physically attractive or not. But I see nothing wrong with tastefully enhancing your physical appearance if it is truly a personal preference that makes you happy.😊

So many girls use products to slick their hairline back and hide their baby hairs. You do NOT look ugly with your hair pulled back. You're a beautiful young lady with gorgeous hair. i told my hair stylist to do this but he cut all my real baby hair to like 1cm long instead 😭😭 i couldn't see what he was doing as i took off my specss... my hairline looks so weird now and its taking forever to grow 😭😭😭😭😭
It's been more than 2 months since i cut my hair following your instructions. I really liked that. At First it was fun and I took care of those lil bangs. But now I'm so frustrated because those hairs poke my eyes 😂😂😂. So I wear a hair band to move them up. Haha. Anyways thank you so much.
