When I was in High school in 2016 I really wanted a PS4 and my folks were trying so damn hard to find one but couldn't because it was sold out everywhere and finally after a whole year of waiting i was in school that day (that's important to the story) the power went out from a bad storm that hit that day and I was also already going through a lot from a bad break up that day. My mom used the money she had left that month alongside money my grandma gave her to buy me a PS4 slim that came with Infinite Warfare (The newest COD at that time). Everyone was calling their parents on their phones to pick them up early. My mom picked me up early and had it waiting in the car for me. Once I got in the car 16 year old me saw the Playstation and smiled from ear to ear excited. I still have the same PS4 today and it still works. Honestly if I had a kid I would definitely do the same thing as my family did for me in 2016 Edit:My PS4 finally broke after 7 years and I have now bought a new one

Of course you can. But, always remember it will take some time. You are still young and I'm 25 this year. Things happen sometimes but no need to rush. If you stay focus this will be pay off.

Well i have a ps4 slim and i wouldn't buy a pro just for the graphics difference and wouldn't buy a pc because it's expensive and doesn't have exclusive ps4 titles

To make your old PS4 whisper quiet, all you need to do is take it apart, clean the fan and heatsink fins with compressed air, and put new thermal paste on the CPU. There are step by step directions on how to easily do this on TH-cam. But the PS4 Pro is better anyway.

I've had my Pro for 3 years and I love it, but at this point unless you have a HDR TV it's probably not worth it.. If I still had my OG PS4 I would probably follow some of the other useful tutorials and deep clean the inside with new heat paste and put in a new 1tb SSD. But enjoy, man. And always keep the box. I ve kept all my boxes from PS1 and got much better resale/trade-ins for them because of it.

I've had my Pro for 3 years and I love it, but at this point unless you have a HDR TV it's probably not worth it..
If I still had my OG PS4 I would probably follow some of the other useful tutorials and deep clean the inside with new heat paste and put in a new 1tb SSD.
But enjoy, man. And always keep the box. I ve kept all my boxes from PS1 and got much better resale/trade-ins for them because of it.
