That sounds pretty nice for such a tiny cheap amp. You should take some of these mini amps and see how they take pedals like fuzz, distortion, reverb, and modulation. That would be awesome to have one of these on a shelf connected to a pedalboard full of micro pedals.

Great idea. I have that in my to do list haha.

Sounds really good for what it is🙂 I kinda liked the driven tones. Did you try running any effects pedals into it?

No I haven't. I might make a separate video trying effect pedals with them.

As someone who has evaluated many of these little practice amps, overall which one would you recommend as the best bang for your buck?

As far as out of the ones I have reviewed so far, the fender mini amps are pretty compelling. They are inexpensive and have a decent clean tone. Out of them, I think the mini deluxe is slightly clearer, but, honestly, they are all pretty comparable. But, ultimately, I think it depends on the person, use case, budget, and gear acquisition plan over time.
      In short, for mini amps,
      1) cheap ($35-50), extremely portable, good clean tones-fender micro amps
      2) ($80-100), portable, good clean and overdrive tones with effects-blackstar fly 3 or boss katana mini.
But I still have yet to test bigger budget amps and whether it is better to get the katana mini or some other amp.

@@GrowWithGuitar thanks for the reply. I bought my son a guitar the other day and ordered the Orange Crush Mini for him to practice with, not realizing there were so many options in that price range. You didn't like the Orange, however some people seem to love it. Since it's already on it's way, I'll try and out and see what I think. I have zero experience with amps so nothing to compare it with, which is why I asked. Nice channel by the way.

Awesome! Yes. People have different opinions, which is fine. Your son might like the orange crush. I do like the fact that it has a built in tuner though.

@@GrowWithGuitar yes that is a nice feature, he's only 6 so I don't think he'll be too picky. At least the industrial design is eye catching.

Epiphone Les Paul special. Maybe in tv yellow? 😀 there is a rumor going around that it sounds better than the way more expensive Gibson

Never tried an expensive Gibson, so I wouldn't know haha.

Stupid question, why dont you try these amps with a overdrive pedal in front of it? HAHA. Would be hillarious if it works really good.

Not a stupid question. Others have suggested it and I have it in my to do list. I am just behind on a lot of other videos lol.

Good demo. It shows us that this amp is truly awful. Bad enough to have some fun anyway!
