And Becky G is a famous American singer a lot of her songs are viewed more than a Billion times (she sings in English and Spanish, she has Mexican origins). Hobi is from a city named Gwangju and he was a famous teen dancer his stage name was Smile Hoya...
And he was part of the dance crew Neuron before he auditioned and joined with Bighit/BTS The chorus of this is from the original song J-hope was also nice enough to give the original creators of this song a nice royalty in tribute, he respects them so much
I love the fact that J-Hope and Becky G decided to pay respect to the original as it was the song that inspired them both when it comes to dance. On top of that, they remade the song with a West Coast twist, as the original was from the East Coast. Korean, Spanish and English. Dancers of all ages, backgrounds and styles. This song and video are brilliant.

When I saw you posted this, everything on my to do list went by the wayside. So much to say about this video. This is a remake of a song that influenced Hobi when he was younger. So he wanted to honor it by doing a remake. Big Hit paid the original artists over 2 million, plus I think royalties to remake their song. I think chicken noodle soup/soda is or was a common meal for people who didn't have much. How many songs have 3 languages? I don't think you noticed, but they shot the whole video with only like 3 breaks/cuts in the filming. It's got a retro/throwback feeling. I wasn't familiar with Becky G, but she is so talented and such a good fit for this song. They had a break last August I believe, and he flew to LA to film this. He was nervous because he said his English isn't that great, and he didn't have his members. FYI I think there's a making of vid too. If you ever watch Bon Voyage 4, you'll see the maknae line dancing the choreo. Also like how he credited all the dancers at the end. You crack me up how you stop the vid when Hobi smiles! Hobi is a mood maker! A literal sunshine ☀️ But sometimes you can see how serious he takes his craft.
