It's not gonna drop over time only gonna go up the g to s ratio. That is a cool coin for your first gold coin. Congrats. Yes do the 1/10oz challenge. Gold usually has much lower premiums than silver in general.

As collectors we tend to buy with our heart and not with our head, I would love to own that coin and the fact that it’s a 1/10th of ounce coin only makes it more practical to own. My only suggestion is to try and buy your coins from other collectors, rather than deal with the full value-added component of the coin.

It's more liquid, it's easier to buy without saving.

love the 1/10 oz buy what you can afford even 1/2 g its all good most of my 1/2g and 1g were 25 and 45 at the time now look , saving up now for a tube of 1/10oz in my opinion more versatile than the 1 and 1/2 oz which i have also bought .stack what you can the dollar is toast
1/10 are nice especially for the long term game. If gold hits $5k then my 1/10 should be easy to liquidate if need be

Buy what you want when you want don't let anyone tell you what to buy it but to buy.
i buy one 1/10 and one 1/20 gold each month and sacrifice going out to dinner a couple times. by October I will have an ounce and a half

Premiums mean nothing, if you are considering for long term (i.e., 10+ years) investment.

Coin shops ONLY pay spot or worse. You will never get premium back.
