A map has a scale of 1:200. An existing sewer at point A is to be continued to point B and the map distance between these two points is 16 cm. If the existing invert level at A is 50.20m and B is at a falling gradient of 1 in 40, calculate: i. the invert level of point B. ii. the FS reading that the engineer should read in order to set out point B if an HPC of 51.00m has been established Can you please assist me?? 🙏🙏🙏🙏
yes sure. But your question is not clear,if the distance between point A & B ia 16 cm then there will no much difference between their levels. anyhow it will be 50.2-(0.025x0.16)=50.196m=invert level at B. ii. FS depends on your HI.
One of the best videos! I appreciate it and any more you can provide!
Thanks dear. There is more to come

how about instead of a manhole its Interceptor box and going to manhole? should also RD in IB?
Yes RD is actually hotizontal distance which is required for slope calculation
@@civillogy i see.. how bout the second manhole in the video sir? they both have same Invert elevation?, the inlet and outlet
Brother. How slope ratio is calculated and if slope is not present how can we find
Dear slope related videos are given in the description box. Watch those videos.
What do you mean by RD
Reduce distance
Hai sir,
Slope request 1:130 ,
pipe lenth -10 meter, what was the slope needed each meter
Please reconfirm the slope 1:130,is this correct? Bacause rhis slope ratio is nearly negligible

@@civillogy please i was given Falling Gradient why don't you used it in the solution?
