- On today's episode of restorations with Vick, he will be bringing back these Nike Air Jordan White Cement IVs. The Air Jordan 4 debuted in 1989 by building on the Air Jordan 3’s ability to seamlessly blend on-court performance with off-court fashion. Straps framed the eyelets, which provided function for ballers seeking extra support - or resembled wings on the side of the shoe when loosely laced. Michael Jordan’s footwear reached new heights when the “Fire Red” Jordan 4 was featured in Spike Lee’s classic Do the Right Thing.What are your thoughts on this shoe? To start off this restoration, Vick begins cleaning the entire shoe with Reshoevn8r's 3-Brush sneaker laundry system. Man I get that shoes are meant to be worn but I have never owned a pair of Js that 5+ years later didnt still have that crisp new look to em. Makes me sad that people just trash their kicks like that.

@@RESHOEVN8R me personally, I wear my shoes but I do so with respect. I have an all white pair of Js that I have even ventured out to clubs in and gotten intoxicated and danced in that are almost as clean and crisp as the day I got them 5 years ago. I clean and treat my kicks all the time.

I'm amazed how ppl get their shoes so dirty and damaged(esp. Jordans) None of my shoes (including older ones) don't look trashed. Anyway, Vick does amazing restorations and customs!!!

I stood in line 8 hours overnight for these when they dropped. Still have mine but I will say it's up there with obsidians/playoff 12s as the most difficult Jordan to keep clean. Still classics though

Love the restoration !! Question Do you dry the shoe in the dryer after the washer or air dry in the sun ?
Never dry the shoes in the dryer! You risk separation, and most importantly, it will shrink the materials

Vick I'm a big fan of these vids. I'm not sure if you've been asked this before but why don't you use blue painter's tape when you tape stuff off? Does the regular masking tape leave residue on the shoe?
Smart way to get more sales on paints but all you really need to make that grey is black and white. Love the content though I been watching Vick for a few years, keep it up
Hey Vick what type of light box do you use to brighten the sole??? Usually I just go outside and leave them in the sun but:
1. I live in Oregon and there’s never any sun.
2. I want to stop doing this for risk of damage to the leather and paint. Thanks!!!!!

I am currently trying to do a midsole repaint on mine but is there a way to use less colors because it got kinda pricy. Like just use one or two greys but i dont know. if you could lend me some help and respond that would be great.

you could also use that thin pin stripeing tape that u can turn and make circles or whatever u want it would work perfect on that top lil ledge of the uppers n u can shape the tape however u want turn however u want
