it occurs to me that severed hand might be an alright bridge weapon for situations like this where you start with a t>1 weapon and have to wait a while to get another (edit: and youre committed to the theme).
I had the same thought when seeing it in the first shop. Especially since it seems to not be especially common in the shops anyways to judge by the run where he tried using it.
I think I'd want to see one that's just actually a laser. So low damage number, super high fire rate and range. Maybe off of elemental/range and with a negative life steal baked in so you can't cheese gaining health with it too easily.
Tbh i think the click finger could easily be a legendary weapon in the base game how it is now also we have a slow beam weapon it just very rarely feels worth it to use it lol maybe a slow beam weapon that gave you one or two flamethrowers for engineering builds could be cool as a legendary so you have high single targer damage and some aoe you can add to an already running engineering build
**Character Idea: The Dreamer** +/- Whenever you get hit, all non-boss enemies disappear from the screen. -/+ After 2 seconds, the same number of enemies get spawned in again. On one hand, it's kinda like having a ludicrous amount of invincibility frames. On the other hand, your economy is not going to be happy.
How about doing the legendary with one armed and glitched or with multitasker and glitched and then look for severed arms to fill the rest of your slots and maybe get one or 2 more legendary weapons if found

Otherwise a new weapon has to be added an natural, cannot be altered, snap* that does 0 dmg to enemies. *snap, like thanos but without the infinity stones.

You want the Plasma Gun from the Diversified mod. On tiers 3 and 4 it turns into a continuous beam

If you can stack Plastic Explosives with this weapon, it can clear a screen.
It does but most of the size was due to artificer bonus so it wouldn’t help as much as you think
