The military needs to update the asthma restrictions in place to allow people with asthma but are highly controlled now and don't require medication to get in. The whole idea of having any issue with asthma past the age of 13 making you disqualified from service is dumb and saddening.
@@ryltt9817 They allow waivers if you hadn't had asthma symptoms past the age of 13 or will take a methacholine challenge test as well as get approval from the right people in MEPs based on your medical history to justify that the methacholine challenge test results shows that you were misdiagnosed with asthma. I know this stuff because it's available in the Internet as well as is what all the recruiters I talked to have said. I talked the Air Force, the Army, and the Army National guard, recruiters about my asthma condition and that's the same information I get, take a methacholine challenge from your doctor, and then MEP's will take that into account and look at everything as well decide whether you can enlist, Air Force just asked me if I had any asthma symptoms past the age of 13 and then said I'm not eligible for the entire military.
@@Freethoughtpdcst I live between "He who has no fear is a fool" and "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." I would be scared of running out of ammo, yes. But seriously, besides the fact this already a potentiality...everybody in the Military knows they might have to pick up a gun and fight...THAT is understood. But to have two elite warriors saying this as if it were some grand shift in tactics...that is kinda bizarre. Now if they said, "Drones" and "Robots" were going to play a greater part in the future...I'd have just agreed. But to go out of their way to say Support staff is going to automatically be on the front lines...that is weird...and kinda stupid...so stupid as to make the premise dismissible out of hand. Imagine a tech going to school in the Military and learning something important....super important...so what these guys are saying here is those specialists are automatically going to be sent on patrol? Naw, I don't think so.
The future of war will have a major component of cyber like attacks. It is much easier and effective to send a virus or similar style of attack to take out major infrastructure, then it is to drop munitions or send in other soft assets. With that said, all land battles require door to door operations. Unfortunately, with recruitment numbers as they are currently, we would have to send loddy doddy everybody just to have appropriate boots on the ground for the required door to door operations.
Imagine those that sign off on the war had to go too. They can at least cook for the troops. If they want to send them, they go to. Sign on the dotted line. God bless 😇
Nobody in these comments seems to understand what this conversation is about.
I don't. Where is the rest of the convo at?
If that’s the case we should do everything to prevent that war.
Obama = Crimea
Biden = Ukraine
Yh we should prevent war like Reagan and Trump = stand up to the bullies ❤
New fiber optic drones that can't be jammed ..spooky
String beats drone
May God have mercy on us all I’m not sure our military is prepared or equipped for it.
What war are they talking about

They already do allow people with asthma

Why? This is a significant claim...what would be the driving decision for every person to be on the frontline?

Wanting a war is only for a country that doesn’t know what a war is.
