I realized about puddings personality since fishman island, she looked like she would have that kind of personality, so what really surprised me when I was reading the manga was Sanji crying face, I was like "what the heck!! Did Oda really draw this!!!????" I couldn't believe that he would draw such a serious crying face. 😅
Right?! It wasnt a cry of despair like when Luffy lost Ace. It's more subtle, more like a cry of defeat and hopelessness. That type of cry seemed lile Sanji would off himself 😭😭

Sanji's bento box is actually filled with each of the Straw Hats' favorite food. Even when he's preparing this for Pudding, he was unconsciously thinking of his nakamas.
And no matter how many times I've watched this episode, Sanji crying in the rain, without even saying anything, you just know what kind of thoughts are running in his mind and the overwhelming set of emotions he must've felt from what he just found out. It never fails to make me cry.
P.S. the title of this video couldn't be more accurate 🤣
I think you've already learned the context of why Pudding is the way she is, but (at least for me) I feel like I'll never be able to fully forgive her. That last part with my boy totally devastated is very difficult for me to watch 😞😩
The initial scene with Sanji unconsciously cooking his friends' favorite meals and the last with him being completely covered by the rain (symbolizing all the trouble he is in) and how the only light he thought he had goes out before his eyes. It is such significant things that they make you realize how well planned this whole thing was.

I love Oda's writing of Pudding. She is one of my favorite side-characters. We go from liking her at the start of the arc, to despising her midway and then empathising and loving her by the end. She was the best part of Whole Cake Island for me. Her and Katakuri. They stole the show. I really hope Oda clears up her current situation shes in the Manga soon. I was hoping Coby or Perona would have saved her.

this is the episode that broke me, so many sad things happened so far in one piece, but this is the moment i actually cried
Pudding is monologuing as they say, but she has a reason to think it won't bite her in the ass. If it weren't for Sanji's propensity to feed people, things would have ended up very differently.
I had forgotten about the three eyed girl that was shown at the end of Fishman island (she was even named at the time!), but it all came back to me just like the author intended. This all caught me off guard. But there's so much more to come!
