I just came across your page. Thanks for the tips. I have been looking for new ideas for my entry way since my little ones no longer get picked up by mom and now ride the school bus I wanted to change the location of the landing area. As for a tip or hack I converted my formal living room into my office as such my kiddos like to do homework at the kitchen table so as to keep it organized and not messy I use the rolling 3 tier cart it can be found at Ikea, Aldi's Michaels or even Hobby Lobby. I scored mine from Aldi's for under $25 and I keep their supplies to do homework or crafts on it and when homework is done and its time to eat we clean everything up put it back in the cart and roll it back to my office. My kids also like to switch up between home and school lunch so I print out the school's menu once a month and display it so they are able to know the night before if they are just packing snacks or full lunch. Well I am still struggling with this but today, Sunday, I have decided that I will check the weather and put outfits together for my two little kids. I think it will save me time in the morning especially for the first few weeks of getting into the groove.

We have two oversized drawers that are used for our lunch packing station and for the cups plates and utensils. My kids are still really little 2 and 5 but i basically teach my kids to do stuff as soon as they learn to walk haha so they get their own things and put them away but we haven’t taught them to pack lunch yet. I still run the show. We use a three tier shelf in the pantry for all the kids snacks that they can pull from after they pull from fridge. It has helped a ton pre packing the snacks like you suggested. I just set up a white board for my hubby and I to train ourselves to get used to so as the kids grow they will learn to look there also.

Ria's World of Ideas ohhh no haha I am NOT good at time management over here so that’s an area I struggle with... keeping routines is hard but if I find a system that works I’m better at keeping up with things. I love learning and seeing what other mamas implement. :)
