Nice! I love watching your videos on watches and the attention to detail is excellent. Having said that and with reference to this particular automatic watch by Benyar, what are your thoughts on the movement used? If the price is so low, and that it needs manual winding (as specified by the manufacturer as well on the amazon web page) do you think the spring will give away too soon. And I say too soon because Automatic watches last a lifetime and more - they can be passed on through generations and maybe that is why they are costly - completely depending on their movement which in turn depends on the quality of parts used :). What are your thoughts on the longevity or life of a watch that is coming in so cheap. Also, I tried to check on what movement is being used, wasn't able to find anything, so I am assuming it is a simple hand wound spring movement that sets the other gears in motion.
From what I've seen in other videos, it's a PTS G3265Z movement. It's not the best or the most common, as you've noted, but I think it does the job. Another channel which unboxed this particular watch, claims that it was running +16 seconds per day, which is very much in tolerance for even seiko NH 35, which is a much more expensive movement, compared to this one. Also, many police auto watches seem to use this movement as well.

Bro mechanical watch servicing is an extremely over exaggerated point. Unless its a 10 lac watch, and you need it to be accurate to 1s, its not needed.

I still have watches from my 2 generations back and wear them proudly. All of them are quartz. I have never bought a budget mechanical watch due to my reservations about them failing in a few years or requiring maintenance which is either frequent/expensive or both. Most of my friend who own mechanical watches don't wear them daily and hence haven't got them serviced.
@@kushaljain92if it's an ordinary mechanical watch like Seiko or orient you can service it in any decent watch shop in your city, i don't think it will cost over 1000, but if it's something like omega or Rolex you should get it done from someone who is an expert in it, usually they can work fine 5 6 years without servicing, some seikos work 10 15 years without servicing,i think the power reserve and accuracy gets reduced but it's not noticeable
