Ko 3rd time uv glass lgwane shop pr gya phle 2 bar ka experience acha tha but usdin me bhaiya ko bola ki shyd glue gya h ander side button me unhone bola ki nhi sb thik h fir i went for some work in other city waha 21st ki morning ko phone ka power button work krna bnd krdiya sensor me bhi issue aane lga phone lock unlock krne me problem aayi bahut, return aake shop wale ko thik krwane diya to usne 4 days tk service centre phone nhi pahuchaya, abhi apka video dekh rha hu and aaj hi phone rkha h service pr 1.30 hour me thik krke dediya service centre walo ne power button clean krke, thank god button change krne ki nobat nhi aayi but yahi socha h aj ke baad curved display phone nhi lunga.
It would have been best if Manufacturer sell tempered glass as optional at their own store.
Exactly, I even asked about this at the Oneplus store.
I have applied foldable membrane over company screen guard it works way good and keeps mind calm of not using UV glass

Btw i have now removed the membrane and installed UV GLASS it looks better now and screen quality is increased due to glass as membrane slightly drops screen resolution

People can choose tempered glass without glue . The only downside is that touch may become slightly less sensitive in some minor areas
it also tends to come off
I bought oneplus 11r and ordered uv glass and apply myself just after unboxing new phone and glue enters inside microphone and microphone stop working then service center offers no warranty and i spend 1000 rs for new sub board in service center which takes 15 days 😢

Just wanted to report my experience after buying at least 5 different versions of these (typically 3-packs) for the Galaxy note 20 and the ip68 s23 ultra. All of the different kits are almost entirely identical with the the only difference being the installation tools they provide. My s23 ultra is now on its third new ($400 usd, $33,416 rs) screen thanks to these protectors. The first screen was spider-webbed along with the protector after a USB wall block fell onto it from 3 ft above. It was such a lightweight in small drop that I felt almost certain I didn't even have to look at my phone, yet as soon as I switched out the protector low and behold it transferred straight through. Assuming it was this brand I've tried multiple others and the last one I applied with all the tools they gave me which did not include cover stickers for the ports, which I overlooked assuming that the trays bumpers were designed with that in mind, and..boom! Goodbye phone for three days and goodbye three days' pay, All because I wanted to keep my phone protected and gave them the slightest bit of my trust. Overall I can't say for sure if they provide any extra protection versus normal tempered glass screen protector The only reason I ever went with them was to get tempered glass without the fingerprint sensor hole
Thanks for sharing your experience, this has been my point in the video, there are so many combinations of situations, and many of them would result in the phone being damaged with the usage of these UV glue protectors.
Wahi galti kardia flat display tempered experience isn't equal to uv ones ... The only reason i did it from shops... They are doing it daily .... Companies shouldn't give curved display then ... The only issue in these uv ones you have to replace them every 5-6months which isn't there in flat ones (And UV ones cost 300Rs) ... Secondly the thing which comes pre applied doesn't offer any protection from drops... UV still offers protection than the film one which comes pre applied..
I had no idea how dangerous it is. Thanks for letting us know. Today I orderd realme gt 6t on bbd sale so I had to search for what a UV protection glass is. Earlier I had one device with curved display -Redmi note 4. I used one normal screen protector and a good back cover. I got no issue even during a fall. Probably I'm gonna use the same on my new device. It will protect your screen unless you remove the back cover.

Not only curved tempered have face difficulty to remove. There is nothing wrong with the fact that flat display are easy to apply without hassle, but one thing to keep in mind is that being a shop owner and mobile technician, using bad quality tempered glass on the flat display gives the same amount of results as UV one. I literally faced everyday this type of removing problem on flat display too. Especially with normal tempered glass which cost ₹20/30. Tempered with black border has somewhat provides a better quality but the normal one when keep unremove for a year or so, same problem as in the demo. And yes, for UV Tempered Glass also, you don't have to pour all the glue that company provides. That's the problem! Just pour a little amount so that the side spill are less. The key thing is consistent and hand skill for UV. Whether UV or Normal, I suggest you to change once in every 6 months. I hope this clear the problems.

@@amarpalgill8045 membrane also good as they protect screen from getting scratches, but it will provide very little protection on accidental drops. But glass has some thickness so it can protect the screen from getting broke as well as scratches. And, personally for me, I used a thick bulky cover along with uv tempered as it provides maximum protection.

I also used Uv glass for my old Samsung S23, unfortunately the glue enters in to the phone and power button has fallen. My humble request to all do not use UV glass even recommend by any TH-camrs. ☺️
There are different types of luca...get the one which is easily removal... it requires some skills to install it. Been using it for almost more than 7 years now from note 8 to s23 ultra line up ...if done properly it increases life of screen from daily damage significantly ...

Curved screen phone provides covers to apply on buttons and holes in the box to protect in case someone uses UV protection cover.
What I have mentioned in the video is that there are other problems a person might face with these screen protectors, even if the glue doesn't enter the phone.

1) pehli baat acchi company ka uv tempred glass lagao ,taki baad me nikalne me koi dikkat na ho chahe price high hi kyu na ho ( 500,600,700)
2) dusri baat yee hai ki online se kabhi mat magwao offline se bhi dekh ke lo
3) tisri baad dukandaar se lagwao jo bohut dino se yee kaam ker raha ho .
My experience :- me uv glass hi lagata hu . 3 timebtut chuka hai and 4th time replace kia guard .no problem ,aram se alag ho gaya glass dukandaar ke dwara bina clean kie . Mereo ko 4 baar me ekk baat bhi dikkat nahi aya .

Thanks for the useful feedback. I saw the video just before applying and stopped! However, I did fixed the tempered glass but without any glue, without even removing the safety film, by using simple transparent tape slightly overlapping the tempered and the edges of the phone. Its more secure now and without any glitch.2-8-24

हम UV tubes वापर करते है. अब तक 500 के ऊपर लगाये होगे मैने कूछ issue नाही आता. Tempered glass लगाओ कोई प्रॉब्लम नाही आता. अगर नाही लागाओगे ते स्क्रीन का कॉस्ट कित्ना है आपको पता चलेगा केअर सेंटर मे 👍

I have seen this video, And read most of the comments, It seems like everyone has did this as beginner, But we need expert to do the same, In the tempered glass box, We get some stickers which has to be apply over the microphone and others place where glue can go, Better let do this by the mobile shop experts, "Paise bachane ke chakkar mein jyada nuksaan ho jayega" 😅😅
Bhai professional jo log hotey hain unkey paas bada sa bridge setup hota hai UV light ka. Yeh choti si uv light poora dry nhi kar paati. Liquid ko aur as a result glue ander chali jaati hai.
True, par ye UV Glass lete huye koi brand nhi batata aur aise bhi cases huye hain jismei professionals se bhi galat application ho jaati hai aur glue andar chale jaata hai. Overall mujhe toh product dangerous lagta hai phones ke liye.

I think one more thing we can do is buy a good back cover that covers the curved display part and then apply a flat display tempered glass on the main screen leaving the curved part. This way it can protect the main screen and the curved part is almost completely protected by back cover.
That may work but chances are that the tempered glass would start coming off from the sides since there's easy chance of air today get inside and create bubbles and eventually the entire tempered glass could come off. The back cover might actually be a good idea since it has raised edges to protect the edge of the screen against accidental drops.

Bhagwan ka shukar hai ki phone ip 64 rating hai isi liye phone abhi tak theek hai. Phir maine 1 mahine bad aur ek dukan pe gaya aur uv glass ko hata ke mambrane guard use kar rha hoon

I'm using Realme GT 6T but I haven't faced any issue regarding tempered glass glue wala. It can easily be removable. Don't try at home bcoz joh uv light aati hai woh sufficient nahi hia glass lgane ke liye. Market walo ke paas alg uv light hoti hai usse ache se lgta hai :)

@@prathameshmore2228 I've been using One plus 11 for a long time and changed my uv glass 20 days ago and it was removed easily. 🫠 NOTHING HAPPENED TO THE DESPLAY. It could be possible that it harms some devices but in my case it didn't yet.

Fir se new lagaya fir (kyonki 3000 ka amazon se liya tha 3 pcs) fir glue speaker mein chali gayi, glue saaf karne ke liye pin ka use kiya to screen ke uppar permanent scratches aa gaye... Lemon chus gaya phone ka... Curved screen band ho jaani chahiye phones pe
UV tempered isliye bakwaas hai, the glue csn damage a lot of things inside the phone.

Very good explanation, would share by experience, I had to sell my s23 ultra at loss due to uv glue tempered glass, it creates gap between display and frame, due which liquid damaged the display at had to pay 16 k, and after several visits to service centre the prob didn't get solve, also samsung cut his customer like thieves won't listen to you and pay heavy price, don't use uv whomever says, use flip cover and membrane at best and always buy total protection for the device, best wishes

Yes, there is flexible screen guard and normal tempered available for curved phones but the problem is that the normal tempered doesn't not stick well to the screen in the long run. I'm using a flexible screen guard as of now, it sticks well but won't provide as much protection as tempered glass.

Membrane screen protector would be better since tempered glass involves applying UV glue to the screen which I wouldn't recommend

True I normally break almost all of my phones within a month but when I started using flip covers I haven't broken my phone for more than a year. I have also dropped my phone and my tab multiple times.
So,flip covers are safe for curved screen
Are there any other replacement for this? I was thinking about getting a hydrogel screen protector but then again it will only protect against scratches.
yes, hydrogel is an option, there are also full adhesive tempered glass protectors available which don't use UV glue but they generally don't stick well to the display. Unfortunately curved screens don't have good protectors available for them.

It likely happened because of the UV glue entering the phone. Due to the nature of UV glue, it corrodes surfaces. Probably because of all this, the power button fell off. Once the glue is cured, it becomes almost impossible to remove any of it from inside the phone.

Don't manipulate if you don't have proper knowledge, there is not going anything happen if you proper apply it , use stickers while applying uv glass & use it for a year.
Check the comments section on this video. People are frustrated by this product since it has damaged their phone.
Sealed all the hole on the frame including the lower areas of the screen using a cello tape (Rs.50 cello tape full size). This glue have higher viscosity than water so it wont go through the cello tape, but It can 100% easily go through speaker hole sim hole, volume button and can became a dry superglue if you dnt use tape to sealed that holes.
you have to remove or change it every 5/7months.
Biggest problem There is no high quality uv temper glass both offline and online.
Flat display is more premium, advantages, convenient, easy to repair, phone manufacturer should stop curve display.

I think you didn't apply the protection tape that comes with these tempered glass protectors and therefore the UV glue seeped into the gaps and damaged the components. This is one of the reasons why these screen protectors are risky to apply.

Look for a good quality one. They way to find a good screen protector is looking at the reviews (if you're buying it online), Amazon might have it. Don't go for super cheap stuff. Or if you're going to a shop for the screen protector then make sure to take a look at the product before you get it applied on the phone.

it has a curved display, I wouldn't suggest you to go with UV tempered glass but try flexible membrane screen protector but you have to be a little more careful with your phone.
