im confused... why would u pick scrublands over a wheeling through the breach, when already having grisle and ashen, and the pick after lingering souls over a wheeling nahiri...?
Because there is no reason to be in a 3rd color if you don't need to. While there is arguments for taking breach too he was already splashing white for rites so the scrubland was good.
i wish u could just buy stuff off ultimate guard directly idk y i have to find a store... they should just be their own online store... and sell their product themselves as well as stores.
A lot of fetchlands were passed. I think I counted four in your colors (3 black, 1 white). And Ancient Tomb. Usually these get slammed pretty quick. Also, why Whisper over Vampiric Tutor? I always favor tutors over card advantage in this type of build (to find the right reanimation spell). GG's.
yeah he drafted bad. He had a full reanimator and that vamp was insane (also wheeled...). Anyway he could have played reanimator at the end, but he opted for something really bad...mah
Lol how can he not pick armageddon. It's probably the card that gets the most amount of concedes when played. Only balance is a more powerful white card. Swords only kills a creature. However i don't pass up Armageddons. I'll almost splash white just to play it. That's how powerful i consider it.
@@u13erfitz Strong disagree. It's so early. What was it? Second pack pick 3 something? Maybe earlier. I can't remember now. You will get more wins in vintage cube by picking armageddon almost every single time. It's literally 4 mana GG if u find an opportunity to play it. Which you almost always do.
Reid finding out Hymn wheeled is the most wholesome thing I've seen in a while.
Never can get enough Reid Duke videos.
The library value was crazy. Also that lili vs blightsteel was beautiful.
Griselbrand in the cover photo is such a tease.
The “It’s Alive!” when he actively decides NOT to make a reanimator deck 🤣
it's a weird time in MTG, I'm so happy to watch this, keeps me interested in the game, thanks buddy
That last match was a gut buster. Opponent couldn't catch a break.
Total opposite of the 2nd match where the opponent was just ripping constantly.
This is my kind of deck.
I was as excited about the Hymn as Reid was xD
Ragavan into turn 3 blighsteel on the play seems good
Unless your opponent is reid duke
I hate Ragavan so much. It's like the embodiment of power creep in mtg.
Still watching the draft but I had to say how sad I am that this isn't going to be a bitterblossom double geddon video.
Your content is too good.

I say all that knowing Reid is way better at this game than I am
Too bad we didn't see that bitterblossom in here :/
Also vampire nighthawk goyf is a super poweful card that requires an answer or wins it feels like
I have no idea why you passed so much fixing, why you didn’t move into blue at all or red, etc. I’m puzzled by your choices
yeah for sure. Xander lounge was the first to take...

Seeing all the white fetches pass when you already have scrubland hurts.
I know. I was dying. Watched without sound, but I imagine there was a reason.
That poor last opponent. Ouch.
watching this on 1.25 speed. oddly enough, it makes reid sounds more human
Tried it, you are so right.
I still swear by 2.0 on Reid
I plaaay mono blaaaack.

Ancient tomb
Swift Reconfiguration got no consideration. It's no Swords to Plowshares, I guess.
Passing corpse dance made no sense either
For an inquisition

Geddon is great if you have board presence. But his deck doesn’t have a lot of early board presence, it’s a fair grindy deck.
@@ogolthorp That's a fair point.
However you don't need much to kill someone without any lands.
A bitterblossom is more than enough.
@@Stokkeland23 yeah but he has none of those. You aren't wrong about geddon. The card is insane. It would just suck in his deck.

In geneal white seems to be orders of magnitude weaker than everything else. Does this bother anyone else or is it just me?
