They combined the Qur’an and the Sunnah (the Sunnah is rulings from the Prophet that explain more) and in Islam it is called (Hadith). The Muslim’s duty is to read the Qur’an and learn the Hadith, so books of hadiths by scholars and memorizers became available after the death of the
