He corrected his pronunciations in his Slavic Bazaar 2018 performance of same song. A voice teacher from Italy, Mr Roberto delli Carri who trains vocal coaches worldwide said Dimash possesses intelligence and sensitivity in his art too, besides his singing and vocal skills which has been polished to diamonds level.
PLEASE continue with Dimash. This was episode 1 of 14 during the competition in China I am Singer 2017 where it was for professionals and they invited Dimash as a wildcard. He was unknown in China & the youngest & first foreigner as he is from Kazakhstan. The episodes were a week apart so the songs had to be mastered in 1 week. Dimash sang 5 in English & the other 8 in other languages. He has been getting better with languages & pronunciation ever since then. You can get back stories & performance with subtitles from the channel Gloria Wu. For later songs you can find videos with subtitles on Gloria's or Dimash Kudaibergen or Holistic Freedom Lifestyle-Awakening With Joy. Dimash sings in 12 languages & plays 7 instruments and sings in all genres. He also expresses a lot with his hands. Also watch for the times he removes an earpiece or falls or jumps to his knees, as it happens before something special.
@@hi_keith6423 Idk what you mean. He is excellent in his original songs, too. He composed some of them, including one of the 2 original songs, which he sang in "I Am a Singer". Some of his most popular songs are original.
I'm in love with Nightwish for more than 20 years. I'm also in love with Dimash last 3 years. You must (not may) to search more. He haves some really awesome songs. He's the best male voice today on earth. 2 songs you have to listen are "Ogni pietra" & "Sinful Passion". Damn goooooood!!
"Miraculous Voice of Kazakhstan", "Space Boy", Dimash Kudaibergen The 6 Octave man. His voice fits three and more: baritone, tenor and altino, the male version of the soprano. His vocal range is six octaves - from the contractava to the fifth octave. He plays seven instruments and sings in twelve languages. In his homeland, Kazakhstan, Dimash, has received so many prizes imaginable ... In China, he was recognized as "The most popular singer in Asia" .. According to the Top Chinese Music Awards, "Dimash was recognized as the best foreign singer." According to MTV, "Singer of the Year" as well as for the "OK" magazine, and for 10 more magazines. he has 114 fan clubs in 46 countries, and the number of his fans has exceeded 10 million. He's only 25 years old. Dimash's popularity seems like an anachronism. Just like the Beatles, in the sixties, (their fans were ready to lie under a tank), Now in 2019, a young Kazakh with the appearance of a manga hero and the wisdom of an Eastern philosopher provokes adoration almost hysterical. Thanks for your very spirited reactions like everyone else, we are swept away by the magic of Dimash's amazing vocals. Continue to enjoy your journey with this new rising star by reacting to some incredible performances. Have a great day, ☆♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸♪♫ DKIFC - The United Kingdom
Elvann, thanks for your reaction......welcome to Dimash world.....he is the best voice in the world......six octaves......from baritone to soprano......and he sings in 12 languages and play 8 instruments.......Dimash voice and performance are perfect....greetings from a Mexican Dear!......🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🇲🇽🇰🇿🇲🇽🥰🇲🇽🇰🇿🇲🇽
Thanks for your analysis- I'm glad you found Dimash! He's from Kazakhstan and may be one of the best vocalists of our time, with a 6-octave range - he is classically trained and sings in multiple genres and languages. I'd recommend performances from his channel, including "Know," "Passione-New Wave," and "Olympico," and he sang with Lara Fabian, one of his idols, on "Ti Amo Cosi"!
Thank you for your reaction to Dimash! But I think that even if we don’t understand what the lyrics of a song are, or how he pronounces the words, we can still enjoy him as he can sing in different languages that are not his native language and still sounds amazing. That is the beauty of music, it has not language, place, shape or form one can still feel it, live it, enjoy it. He is in my opinion a master of performing in a way that his whole body tells a story, one cannot help but be mesmerized by his ability to sing and deliver the message of the song. He is simply amazing.
I think you have done well. Persevere with Dimash. This young man is developing all the time and is doing remarkable stuff. You will start forgiving many obvious little faults once you get to know him, his music and his journey. He is quite a remarkable young man, even as a person, and deserves to be noticed more. I subbed. Keep going with Dimash and stay blessed. Greetings from Thailand.
Hi Elvann from Montreal:) Dimash is the best on whole universe and it doesn’t really matter what language he sings or speaks, the truth is-He ain’t human for sure and best of the best!!!
Dimash sings Chinese with slightly accent. As a native Chinese speaker I would say that his accent is purely acceptable. You should see his NY concert video showing a group of fans from around the world (and not all of them look like Chinese) singing a Chinese song with him. Your critique about his pronunciations sound more like a linguistic professor rather than a musician. Perhaps you should listen to his Russian song "Opera 2" ("The Singer" version, 2017) so you can just concentrate on his singing technique. The video you have watched is Dimash's first debut in Chinese TV singing competition series "The Singer" back to 2017. Even before that, he has already won multiple singing competitions. He is well-known in China and Russia and has done his first solo concert in the Barclays Center in NY on December 10, 2019. I guess it's never too late to meet a great voice even if it comes with an accent -- an accent could be charming to some people because of its uniqueness.
I think we should highlight those dynamics and variation of techniques through different music styles. It`s shocking for the first time to hear such wide vocal range but it amaze me how seemleas and effortless it went on. I don`t think I have ever seen anything like this performance before, just perfect. Thanks a lot for breaking it down!
Welcome to the amazing world of Dimash. If you want to be stunned try these: SINFUL PASSION for the use of mid-eastern vibes and a 20+second run that is up and down the scales. KNOW for a unique use of scatology, OGNI PIETRA for an epic performance in full out operatic voice. PASSIONE for an experience you may never forget. ENJOY!!
Nobody can take away from Dimash that he has a good voice, and he knows how to use it and control it very well. And I like his flute like quality in his softer high notes. With that said: every performance I've seen with him, I always sit back with the feeling that he arranges his songs for maximum wow factor and to fit his entire range. So I hope he has a long carrier ahead of him, so that we get to hear a more fully formed and mature singer who tempers his voice to fit the song and not the other way around.
I don't think that his goal is the maximum wow factor. I'd rather think that he uses all his tools to create something different and compelling. The focus of the songs are always the story and the emotions. Also the songs, which he became popular with, were from "I Am a Singer", and I guess were chosen to show his range and technique in the competition. However, in his concerts and in his album iD he sings beautiful, heart-wrenching ballads with amazing lyrics (there are subtitles on TH-cam for the songs, which are not in English), which are not so complex vocally, for example, Give Me Love, Samaltau, Kusni Korlan, Karagim-Ay, Karatorgay, My Swan, I Miss You, Moonlight Mama, Aykaragoz (Ft. Alisher), Don't Make Me Dream, Just Let It Be, I Only Love You, Couldn't Leave, If I Never Breathe Again.
You've just started to know Dimash world. Welcome to a new level of music art. It's an endless dimension. Remember Dimash is not a note nor range he's a whole new experience. Enjoy it
what you see is not an ordinary singer. he is a master in his field (singing). Singing is not only his life but also his education. Kudaibergen completed the Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014 he graduated in Classical Music (Bel Canto) from the music department of the University of K. Zhubanov in Aktobe. He graduated from the Kazakh National University of Art in Astana where he graduated on 27 June 2018 with the Vocal Department.
So, after watching this video two times, I can say that I don't totally dislike it. I checked some of your own music videos, and found that you have a nice voice; I also like your playing of the harp. I'm sorry for the rudeness of some comments, all opinions should be expressed with respect. I'd just wish that you had talked more about singing and vocals, and less about French. You are aware that you yourself had some extra "s" in this same video, right? 11:10 light(s) , delicate(s). i'm not a native English speaker and sounded funny to me, but I don't know how it sounds to the ears of a native English speaker, maybe the same way Dimash's extra "s" in vis sounded to you. Anyway, thank you for your reaction.
There is a big difference between making a pronunciation mistake while speaking live in front of a camera and while singing something that you have rehearsed a lot. There should have been someone with enough knowledge in his entourage to tell him exactly how words should be pronounced. It sounds like an English speaker tried to teach him how to say the words in French. In the same song he use both vis and vie, just tell him they should sound the same. It doesn't remove anything from his performance to me, he is an awesome singer.
@@luc6066 He performed that song before (actually won the Slavic Bazaar contest with it in 2015 and sang it on many other occasions as well, and didn't make those mistakes). I think that the mispronunciation and mistakes were caused by the fact that he was very nervous and got confused. There is a backstage footage of him before the performance and he looks like he is going to faint.
Sorry dear, but for me as Russian speaking person it is funny to hear the correction on the pronunciation from the person who belonged to the country there intaer nation cannot pronounce even one Russian word Bistro in a correct way!
If he'd sing in spanish I surely would hear an accent and some mispronounciations, but I'm wouldn't care, he could just humming all the song an it would still be angelic... I never heard another singer like him, yeah, I listen opera, I listen pop, but not those both genres in one, not like this 🤷🏻♂️
yes, we have to respect his pronounciation coz he sing so many song from another country.. so, his accent must be misspronounciation a lil bit.. at least, he sing using his soul.. :'D
Agreed boss. Dimash is a terrific storyteller, using both his extensive vocal range and stage presence to communicate. His creative ability (among other things) to re-arrange songs to fit his tessitura and to project the story and the associated feelings in them is simply incredible. To get and appreciate this roller-coaster effect fully, something like "Sinful Passion" from him would be appropriate for a future reaction. A couple more superlative storytellers to watch in the future are Lara Fabian (I'm guessing you know her, you being from Quebec and all), and Sohyang (a South Korean Gospel singer). Terrific voices, put to great use. Keep the goodness coming, cheers..C:
So ive watched reaction video's and other video's particularly this song, are we all going to ignore that smile at 11:55? Ive seen it in every video and not one person has said anything about it. Im thinking he knows, he knows, lol...this was probably the best version of this song ever done and he just made everyone aware he is by far " The best singer in the world "....that's my opinion and according to the amount of video's dedicated to Damash and more than 1 Billion views across youtube...so does everyone else. Impressive doesn't even come close to describing what this man has done and will do with his voice. You know those people who doctors always want to study their brains? Yeah!! this is one of those people who need to be studied.
Thank you for your wonderful reaction to Dimash!!!! I look forward to watching your next Dimash reaction video. God Bless from a Dimash "Dear" in Lakewood, Washington USA
@@j.nybergh7003 you can't disprove that comment, it's all opinions, and I'm sure you express yours. Dimash is as perfect a singer alive today...that's my opinion, nobody with any credibility has proven me wrong .
@@jimbobjennings8266 Sure. In music and in art in general it's a matter of taste. Dimash doesn't move me in any way but i can still appreciate his skills. I wish all the best for him and it's great for any artist to have support of the fans.
Welcome to Dimash world. Prepare to get your socks knocked off. Btw, this is a very early performance of his. He has, of course, performed in front of hundreds of thousands of people from Russia to New York and L.A., including this song, many times, in which his French and English have also improved impressively. He sings in 12 languages and plays 7 instruments. He is super talented, and seing a world class talent, arguably the BEST singer in the world, as well as one so humble and powerful, come out of Kazakhstan is such a triumph and delight.
You should see his performance of this song in Paris. Standing ovation despite the pronunciation. At the end of the day, not many care whether he's saying the words correctly, the clever manipulation of his vocals to evoke certain emotions is what grabs the audience besides those high notes.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️🌷❤️🌷❤️🌷❤️🌷Merci! Loved your reaction and comments! About his pronunciation of “vis” and “ris”: Strangely enough, in his older and later performances of SOS, he never pronounced the S. I suppose he was extremely nervous since this was his first performance in China. If he didn’t make the top six in the first two episodes, he would have been eliminated. Everyone was a well-known award-winning Chinese singer whereas Dimash was a total unknown in China. Of course, he shouldn’t have worried at all. That day he ranked first. The song SOS d’un Terrien en Détresse is from the 1978 French Canadian rock opera Starmania. From Québec actually! 😉 Originally sung by Daniel Balavoine. It amazes me that back then I would be listening daily to Le Monde Est Stone but had never heard this song. Please do react to more Dimash! I’d love to hear more of your comments! Opera 2; Adagio; Ocean Over the Time; Love is Like a Dream; Unforgettable Day (live at Gakku); Ogni Pietra. /from Dimash USA Fan Club 🇺🇸
I 've just watched another reaction you did to Dimash (Sinful passion I think) and there you say that in SOS he is doing a bit too much. Well, here in the reaction to SOS itself, you did not say that :). He is doing much, true, but he is doing it in a singing contest, therefore it makes perfect sense. I think it is even his first rendition of the song, so the ones that followed could not be done any differently since people were expecting this explosion in the song. I personally love everything about it, I do not think that the whole voice showcasing damages the message of the song in any way, but it enhances it. To me this is perfect. Also, I agree with all your comments. I am sure Dimash does not speak a word of French and has only learned the words in this song. For sure he knows exactly what they mean, but it is also obvious that he finds it quite difficult to pronounce them. Actually, he finds it very difficult, near impossible, because he is perfect otherwise and he has studied this song inside and out and even reinvented it and it is in his blood by now. All he does he does to perfection. So if his French is not perfect, it is for sure the best he could achieve after a monster fight with the words. Who knows, maybe he was also a little under the stress of the contest here. I have learned French in school and of course I noticed the mistakes immediately. In some parts he does not even sing the words that are written on screen. The thing is that this does not bother me at all. I have seen this video so many times and I just don't grow tired of it. I see something divine in Dimash. He still brings me to tears, just like the first time I heard him. I guess it is true that one must not understand the words in order to get the message if the artist is such an artist. I can also understand that native French speakers could be a bit more bothered by the pronunciation than me.
If you're going for range, i think Ogni Pietra is the best one. Correct me if i'm wrong. But that one seemed bonkers to me. Can't fathom how he did that.
The truth is let's enjoy his talents n gifts!! Thank you for your reaction... You must remember we all communicate in music NO MATTER WHAT LANGUAGE...You might need to listen to some of the well known America's singers and vocal coaches as well as Known Italians singers opera coaches...They accept Dimash as the KING of vocals, performer etc who came to the world to share with us his gifts and to teach people his talents....Don't be shock cause you're not there yet regardless if you're a coach cause Dimas is very humble and experienced artist who taught by very well known world artists and diligent university student...Just listen and learn from him so you can help your students...By the way SOS is orinally a French song well known too but it seems like you didn't know that...Enjoy its not a French class try sing in English! We can assess your grammar if you want!
He corrected some of the French pronunciations in later performances. I believe this was Dimash first time he sang in French so he wasn’t aware he was not supposed to pronounce the “s”
And I was told that some words in French look ridiculous for Chinese and Dimash was asked to change words course of it. To not be like he is cursing. For example, "kimati" or something like this always make koreans and Japanese burst into laugh
iwubfood1 Dimash has performed SOS before, most notably in 2015 when he won the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus. Many attribute pronouncing the “s” in “vis” may be due to rattled nerves. Dimash was the youngest participant (22) amidst established, seasoned competitors; the first foreigner; and the first act. This performance was viewed by millions and catapulted him to instant fame. Subsequently, the producers hired bodyguards before he was allowed to venture out of his hotel. There is a TY interview where Dimash recounts this experience.
That was his first full performance of that song, and thus the first time those fellow-competitors (who later became his band of friends) heard him. It marks his real bursting on the music scene.
He had to learn this song in a week and being only 22 and first time on that show in China must have been scary. I understand French and 4 other languages but I focused on his singing and the way he moved me. He has master in vocals and is classically trained. Know all his songs and following him for 3 years now. He sings songs in Chinese, Italian, Russian, Kazakh, English. I know only a bit of Chinese. English and Italian yes, but no Russian and Kazakh. Whatever language he sings in I am moved because he sings to my heart. Love him singing with Lara Fabian. You have not heard anything yet. So just continue listening to all his songs and his concerts. Last concert was in December in New York and he will give 3 concerts next month in March 2020 in Germany. You have a lot to catch up with. All the best. Thanks for your reaction.
Dimash is wonderful,, He sing Chinese is very good in pronounce, even He doesn't speak chinses, Hi is very talent, I watch him every day, no other singer can make me watch them every day but Dimash, that's how good He is.
The interesting thing about him pronouncing the "s" is that he had performed this song many times before this show and did not pronounce the "s". I'm pretty sure that he was extremely nervous, being the first performance on this show and never having sung in China before. If you listen to him sing it in his Arnau concert, which was a couple of years later, his pronunciation of the entire song is better. I hope you do more reactions to Dimash. Since I discovered him about a year and a half ago, I listen to him every single day!
As if his pronunciation mattered! Although I'm not fluent, I understand French, so in my first hearing I noticed his errors in some small and remote part of my mind, but was so blown away by his vocals and his embodiment of the lyrics, that I couldn't care less about his pronunciation. Maybe it helps that I'm way too used to foreign singers that when singing in my mother tongue (Spanish), they misspronunce. Anyway, that does not diminish my hearing experience in the least. I think that this reaction has too much talking about French, and not enough about vocals. Thank God she gave him credit for the interpretation of the song, for conveying the meaning of the lyrics to the listener. Little does she know that Dimash is the ultimate storyteller, in any language; that he doesn't perform a song until he "gets" the lyrics, makes it his own, and is able to embody its meaning with all his heart and soul.
@@dmlcl I know....I am too. We've heard it so many times. But when someone comes "late to the game", they're not aware that we've already heard it, so I wanted to cut her some slack, you know?
Who even cares about the pronunciation of a couple words. This is one of the most incredible singing performances I've heard from a person in over 50 years.
I am hugh Nightwish fan and have seen every reaction to dimash his voice is amazing his control and vocal range is beyond belief but he doesnt make me cry but the guy is amazing :-)
Like you and Floor, Dimash was classically trained from a child and has crazy control. He’s a wonderful artist and human being...a good soul who touches us when he sings! Please do Dimash! Anything is fine...so many choices!👏🏻🎼🤗
Dimash’s voice is mad. I’ve always wondered how he’d go doing some symphonic metal. Not sure how much he ‘rock’s out’ but either way I’m sure he could do whatever he wanted. Nice reaction, Elvann. Wow, some of these comments...
omg you're right, he would sound great in symphonic metal!!!! :O Also yeah, the comments... yeah. I don't know what to do about this but a lot of it is becoming way too toxic for my taste in here.
@@ElvannReacts probably delete anything too personal or abusive. It's your channel and you shouldn't have to put up this. Dimash is a much better person than some of his fans, it looks like. And I thought NW fans could get rough!
@@ElvannReactsthat's hardly surprising though; you should know Dimash has a global fanbase and they are very protective of him. No other artist imo has garnered such loyalty, someone even suggested it's almost religious. I'm a fan and I disagree. But try a little research, you will realize he is much loved, not only because of his music but because he walks the talk. His values as a fellow human being resonates with the humanity in all of us. To me, that's been his greatest drawcard. Admittedly there will always be people who will look for and focus on his flaws and that's fine. Dimash's parents did not raise him to fulfil our expectations. Like any artist who loves his craft, he perseveres and given his energy, he will probably reach new heights before he turns 30 in spite of the naysayers and fault pickers.✌
I'm 3:25 into this reaction and having read the comments first, I have to say I can't see what the fuss is about. The lady makes an observation about his pronunciation, but also acknowledges that it is NOT his native language. He's actually improved a lot with this particular songs. But Elvann only has good things to say about his voice so far. I'll comment more when I've done watching. Elvann, if you like opera, you should really react to Olympico. It was written especially for him. I love the way he plays with his notes. He's such a storyteller. I love the layers and colors in his voice. Oh, he's also completely involved in the arrangement of his songs. I loved this reaction so please continue. I'm definitely a new subscriber.
The pronunciation is not the main point, he is an amazing performer, he has beautiful voice , he has a lot of knowledge of music, he sings in 8 idioms, he is the best singer today!!!
If you want to see all of Dimash's range, react to Unforgettable Day at Gakku concert. This man can hit a sustained D8 note. I ultra-strongly recommend this. You haven't heard ANYTHING until you hear his D8 whistle.
BRAZIL - Elvann, Dimash is my best discovery in the Chinese contest in 2017. He has become my favorite singer ever since, I love his magnificent voice that is smooth, crystalline, powerful. I love the fact that Dimash can sing with his 3 voices, baritone, mixed and Soprano and sometimes duets with himself, as in OGNI PIETRA. Dimash is a fan of Lara Fabian, one of her musical idols and had the happiness of singing with her at a show in Russia last year, November 2019, it was beautiful. It was a trio: Lara, Dimash and Aida Garifullina with the song TI AMO COSI. If you continue to react to Dimash, I suggest continuing with the contest videos in China-2017 I Am A Singer, you will not regret it and I will be happy to see it.
Greetings of Peace to everyone…! And to all the personnel’s who worked with artists, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. My heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his singing career to the best of his ability the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from his optimistic views in pursuing his career, his persistency, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and to his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music. The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted but his hard work and years of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. For all the readers of these reflections and commentaries about this piece of music performed by Dimash. If you think this is all helpful for the general public you can share it to others, I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your own personal comments and critique to this commentary and reflection is very much welcome and highly appreciated too. Song of Dimash in French “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) STORY BEHIND THE SONG: Credit to Daniel Balavoine the original artist of this song who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. That is why this song is sad mention in some of the lyrics…A soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress. . Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discern well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity or a means of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with great humility and discernment. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” St. Paul reminded us that “the sufferings of this present time are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters into human lives, our nature has been wounded, and we experience suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but it is part of the reality of our human lives now. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others. Death is the end of our earthly life. Our lives are measured by time, as with all other living beings on earth. Since it is unknown to all of us the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times, otherwise we are being caught by surprise of not being ready when God comes to take us to be with Him forever in our eternal home in bliss. Thanks Dimash for your music and service to us, to your country and people. Gratefully yours, Ester Rabi, Philippines,

The best part of every Dimash first-time "vocal coach" reaction is when the "coach" realizes they need to reassess their "expertise". In this particular video it occurs at about 9:47.
Bienvenue! Amicalement de France
Thanks for your reaction. This is not opera but popera! This was his first performance in a big show in 2017. Dimash sings in 12 languages. And he works really hard to learn them. Here this song in 2018 where he is doing a better job: Dimash SOS Slavic bazaar 2018 th-cam.com/video/W29zEuZVaxs/w-d-xo.html
I really really liked that you talked about his french, almost no one that reacted to him, is native, so its cool to see that perspective. I like more hearing about his voice and singing technic, but, everyone has a different point to make, and thats actually better than having everyone just talking about his voice all the time
Thank you for reacting to Dimash ... your comments are very interesting ... and very good analysis of Dimash's wonderful voice and interpretation ... we hope you continue to react to his performances on TH-cam ... greetings
I have been wishing that some Nightwish "expert" reviews and analyses this incredibly awesome man, for me currently the best male voice in the world right now. So THANK YOU for your reaction!
837 people seem not to be able to cope with Dimash not being perfect. Nice reaction and when (I hope) you listen to his first foray into English back then, you'll see the same thing. His pronunciation isn't perfect but his artistry and command of the stage and delivering a great performance shine through anyway. Please keep doing them, he has a lot of very worthy songs to listen too, If you want to jum ahead his Olimpico (Ogni Pietra) would suit you I think, Otherwise there are a dozen or so more songs from the Singer show in 2017 and even a guest performance song in 2018 for you to watch.
Really nice reaction. Have to say thought about his pronunciation: He is from a part of the world that has really different tones and sounds of vowels that is is very hard for him to really pronounce western languages like english and french. His vowel sounds I may add are fantastic though. In all for me he is the best singer in the world, not only because he can hit those notes, but the easiness that he goes from one to another , from one style to another, and yet keep is soooooo light and beautiful. Master of vocals :)
Thank you for your reaction. Dimash sings in 9 languages, would i like to hear you sing in Kazakh. I imagine that you should be worried about when you get acquainted with the work of the Dimash closer. Good luck to you.
They are way too different. Dimash is the best technical singer in the planet right now, his technique is perfect, his vocal range is inhuman, and the vocal dynamics are meticulously thought out. His performances are awe inspiring. The only thing he lacks is 'edge'. I cant immagine Dimash sounding "badass". Thats ok of course, that is not required for the type of music he does, but it would make for a very weird duet with Floor.
Singing in many languages is the norm for operatic singers. Many operas are in german, italian, russian and other languages that the singers often dont understand. However it must be noted that in opera pronunciation is considered of secondary importance, opera singers make many vowel manipulations in order to be able to sing in a specific register and the use of the consonants is somewhat loose. Opera is about using the voice as a powerful instrument, capable of overpowering the orchestra, being understood is not nearly as important. Dimash's Operatic training allows him to do amazing things with his voice, but he also imported some things that he shouldnt. In popular music pronunciation is significantly more important. Dimash singing in over 10 languages while only being able to understand 2 is NOT something to be praised in my opinion. It is something he imported from his opera background that i actually consider one of his very few weaknesses. I understand perfectly why Elvann reacted the way she did. I love listening to Dimash, but i like it significantly less when he sings in a language i understand. I remember watching his first 2 Singer2017 performances and being amazed, then watching the third (show must go on) and being disapointed. After the first few bars of the song he doesnt pronounce a single word properly. His vocal performance is amazing, but his nonexistent english was seriously distracting and annoying, specially in such an iconic song. Nowadays his english improved, but it is still a work in progress, i still much preffer to listen to him singing in russian than in english. Or if not russian at least a language i dont understand myself.
@@juyifan7933 If you mean to say that Dimash does not know what he is singing about unless it is in the language that he is fluent, you are mistaken. Dimash is a very hard working artist for whom the meaning of the song is very important. He researches the meaning of the song, down to individual words, so that he may put the right emotion behind each word. Also he does know English enough to be able to communicate in it. He uses it in China as Mandarin is very hard to learn. However, I have been told that in his Mandarin (as well as Italian) songs he sounds like a native. As for what you prefer to listen to - everyone has their preferences.
@@juyifan7933 If you man to say that Dimash does not know what he is singing about, you are mistaken. He is a very hard working artist and the meaning of the lyrics is very important to him. He works with translation, not only overall, but down to the meaning of each individual words, in order to put right emotion to each word. He knows enough English to be able to communicate, as he uses English in China, since Chinese is really hard to learn (as he told us). However, We have been told that now days when he sings songs in Madarin (and also Italian) he sounds like a native. As for you perferences, Good for you. We all have our perferences.
@@clarity123 I'm sure he knows what the lyrics mean. When have i suggested he doesnt? I'm saying he doesnt pronounce the words. If you dont know the language he is singing on, his performance comunicates the emotions of the song perfectly, but if you do know the language and realize that he is not even close to pronouncing the words properly it detracts rather than adds. For instance in the Show Must Go On performance i mentioned, after the first few bars of the song there are no more lyrics, just a sequence of vowels he uses to sing his notes. With regards to his english, nowadays he does know a little, but in 2017 he didnt know a single word. When in China Dimash relies on translators, not on his newborn immature english. Dimash is a great singer, in some respects he is the best in the world. But he is still human and still young, he has flaws. His pronunciation is the most prominent weakness.
Dimash know 12 langauge and playning on 7 instruments!! He the best singers on plantes! No one no cant sing is stars singers singin song how Dimsh can sing. His vocals most the best on the worlds. It's farct!
I don't know french so I don't really care how well he knows or doesn't know French. His performance is better enjoyed and understood when listened to and watched when not interrupted so many times.....espeically not right in the beginning or the middle of a really dramatic moment. His performance skills also are what captured the drama and impact of it. He is a master on stage...he has powerful stage presence and that itself draws people in and he controls the atmosphere with that and his very carefully planned out vocals. If no one had ever heard of Dimash and watched this they didn't have a decent opportunity to even experience what he is about. This was stopped way too often unnecessarily. I am not a crazed Dimash fan, I was just really frustrated with all of the pauses for things that really were not important at all and if you would have listened on further you would not have made some of the comments that you made. You didn't give yourself a chance to get the feel and get to actually know him before you passed some really wrong observations on his performance.
Hi Elvann, Nice reaction, this was Ep1 of Singer 2017, Dimash was youngest ever contestant at 22yrs old and at this stage he only spoke his native Kazakh and Russian, during the competition he sang in 6/7 languages all learned within the weeks rehearsals between shows. Admittedly he had sang SOS before this, having won a competition in Belarus with same song … a fact which brought him to the attention of the producers of this massive Singer competition in China, he was invited as the wildcard and absolutely won everyone over. Hope you continue with your Dimash journey, lots and lots of phenomenal performances since this competition. 👌👌👌😊
@@Sorgesol There is a screen with lyrics on "The Singer" to help singers in case they forget some words. I guess written french could have confuse him a little bit.
CCP is 他妈的 tā mā de I was a little bit rude there with the lady , I should not have, but I got a little bit irritated. At least she admits he has an excellent technique and a beautiful voice. I can't get enough of his voice, I am addicted and the only cure is to keep on listening to him.
You have to be thankful that the best singer in the world sings in the language that nobody cares! Only the arrogant French. I didn't need to understand anything, I cried because I understood his voice and emotions!
I would enjoy seeing more Dimash reactions from you, too. He's a remarkable talent. Adagio, Sinful Passion, Love Is Like a Dream, Ogni Pietra, Passione... he will surprise you.
The best singer of the world!! He is one!!!
He is the best cover singer.

Yeahe, I do see what you mean by this though. I'm not that easily impressed with tricks, I'm more impressed with artistry and expressivity.
@@ElvannReacts Yeah me too. ... And jeebus these Dimash fans sure are ... shall we say outspoken 😳. It's bordering on being religious.
That is very neatly put into words. My exact feeling about Dimash. Thank you for that.
benbermusics Good to hear I am not the only one 🙂
Enjoy it
I see Dimash, i click. That's all 😁
And btw you're absolutely right about "bandes dessinées" 😉 . Cheers from Paris

what you see is not an ordinary singer. he is a master in his field (singing).
Light(s) and delicate(s) :)
As a native English speaker, I concur!
I love Dimash as an artist, and I've just loved your sincere comments on that masterpiece (The term masterpiece reflects just my opinion).
He's the best singer for the moment and he'll propably be the best ever if he continues like now.
You must continue with him.
He advanced through out the time and he even sang this song in french tv ;) welcome to dimashmania!!!!

Great reaction to the best singer in the world. Please react more to him. It's mind blowing.
The best phenomenal vocal in the planet nothing compare....
Dimash ❤ is the greatest singer alive in the World.
Great reaction for king Dimash the best singer on the planet !!
You haven't seen anything yet. Do his version of Sinfull Passion you'll see his 6 octive range in that one
Not quite 6 octave in that song mate

Dear Elvann, you are beautiful. Thanks, for your good reaction about Dimash
That might very well be the case! I like to see singers improve so that sounds really amazing to me! :D
@@kaakca totally agree
iwubfood1 Dimash has performed SOS before, most notably in 2015 when he won the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus.
Some Dears overeact sometimes but it is because Dimash is a perfectionist. He made a performance a couple of months before and he improved a lot ❤🇧🇷
Ready get Dimashified by him there and here by you all reaction... Love greeting from Malaysia fans here..
DIMASH -- PERFECTION 👽👽👽
Dimash is wonderful,, He sing Chinese is very good in pronounce, even He doesn't speak chinses, Hi is very talent, I watch him every day, no other singer can make me watch them every day but Dimash, that's how good He is.
When he talk about the bird he made the sound similar to it - Well it is hard to explain to you all the details - Dimash is an ocean of details xxx
Barbara Saracini : Thank you that you mentioned the fact behind this “only one time” pronunciation mistake. I think I am a bit tired of hearing this 😅
As if his pronunciation mattered!
@@vincer9960 i agree
Thanks for the reaction to Dimash, it was very exciting.
Beautiful song 👍👍👍👍👍👍 dimash good voice
I am hugh Nightwish fan and have seen every reaction to dimash his voice is amazing his control and vocal range is beyond belief but he doesnt make me cry but the guy is amazing :-)
This is vocal gymnastics.
I think his competitors just left the building.
Like you and Floor, Dimash was classically trained from a child and has crazy control. He’s a wonderful artist and human being...a good soul who touches us when he sings! Please do Dimash! Anything is fine...so many choices!👏🏻🎼🤗
Dimash is the best singer in the world...go ahead and bow down to the boss player.
Also yeah, the comments...
I'm definitely a new subscriber.
you worry about words too much, just enjoy this world class voice.........
Song of Dimash in French “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death)
STORY BEHIND THE SONG: Credit to Daniel Balavoine the original artist of this song who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986.

The best part of every Dimash first-time "vocal coach" reaction is when the "coach" realizes they need to reassess their "expertise". In this particular video it occurs at about 9:47.

Dimash is Maestro. Rollercoaster. ... speechless
Ignore the haters (autocorrect almost had me saying ignite, lol) and keep up with these videos -Dimash is the mountaintop
Also, you can ignite them.

@@bowkneeliciouz6494 that would be a trio hehehe
Imagine le dans un band symphonique metal à la NW/WT :) «He planned this all along! » En effet, Dimash est le maitre pour préparer des climax.
I clicked so freaking fast 😂
If you check out later version of SOS, you will see that his promouciation is much better, his is singing over 10 languages
