I was in Jamaica a long time ago, and had a local friend who took me around to fun things. I remember coming back from Ocho Rios and holding our bathing suits out the window of the taxi to dry them. Lol. It is a very beautiful place, with sinister mosquitoes that come out at dusk .
I really enjoy your videos. When I lived in Jamaica way back in the late 50s and mid 60s, I don't recall us going to nearly as many of the interesting places that you drive to. Once this virus is contained, I'd love to come back with my wife for a couple of weeks and show her the real Jamaica instead of just the tourist spots. If and when we are able to visit, I hope that you might be able to recommend someone to drive us around.
Thank you sir for this tour of the beautiful countryside. I would recommend adding "Jamaican Tour Guide" to complement your other side jobs. Last December we drove up to Chukka's Place only to find it closed, but the drive was good for my soul.
Ok let me see.......irie beach was those two white gate posts after you pass Bonham heights. Colyer gully was the lowest part of the road after you pass upton on the way to lodge
Oh and sheep hole is the colloquial name for that small area where the block factory is (just before you come to the epping gas station at Eltham crossing) so much bush used to out there the place look dark in daytime 😆😆😆
I enjoy these jamaican channels videos so much. Jamaican nature is one of the best ones in the Neotropics.
I haven't been back home in about 7 years but you showed me how my home looks now, thank you so much.
