Oh my. Everything's expensive. This must be really the result of hiking global inflation. Before, we can't reach $100 when going to the grocer and yet we have plenty for the family. Now, $100 of groceries is enough for only one or two people for one month 😨
I totally agree with you dear
This is my exact mood whenever I go to the market, it's sad 😢 and I always wonder how the less privileged are surviving, thank God for always providing, it's well
The meat is a good buy
See my darling sister, your comment just gave me goosebumps. It’s always sad menh like I wish I can dodge going to the market 💔 . Like you said it’s well with us all
Very good buy. This is the way to save some money by buying in bulk, of course if the money is there
I totally agree with you.

Omo things are really really expensive ooo😢😢😢thank God for providing.
Things are indeed expensive, and prices changes everyday
The half paint of crayfish is a good buy compare to the full custard
Yea I’ve always known that. Sometimes instead of buying one custard, I tell them to measure half twice .
Nice one my sister God will help us in Jesus name amen
Amen 🙏
Well done
Thank you 🙏
It would be amazing if you put the price on the screen in USD. Great video!
Oh dear would do that in future videos. Thanks for the suggestion
You Did Very Well Negotiating with Price, Food items in Nigeria is Expensive,

Slaughter market is closer to you dear
Anytime you’re buying egusi or anything dried, buy in cups
Good idea, but then how many cup fills up a custard rubber ?
@@BECKYtheMOMMY5 and half derica
Wow God will help Nigeria 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Indeed we need God’s intervention at this point
Nice one which market is this
It’s called oilmil market
I don’t know how much you bought the 1kg oil but I guess it’s 2200 per one or thereabout. If that’s so, next time buy from those wholesalers, ask the price for a carton then buy half of it which is 6 sachets. It’s best that way than buy single sachet into the quantity you need. Same with spaghetti. For that one dey sell quarter also
I mentioned the price of 1liter of kings oil is 2,100 naira . Thank you for sharing this idea.
The only thing you forgot to tell us mum,is the price of those lovely fresh plantain.
I wrote it in the caption dear. The one I got is N2,500
It's interesting to see how far N150,000 ($100) goes in the market 😊
Sure it is
Things are high all over the world. Not just in Nigeria.
Yea true ,there’s inflation everywhere
I still can’t get over how much groceries have become so pricey!
Really pricey dear
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
Hello ma. If I’m going to this market, what part of Oil mill is this?
For the tomatoes and onions/ pepper
The part of oil facing east west road . It’s usually called Eleme junction . Or you can ask the tricycle guys where Oilmil’s tomatoes market is , they will show you, it’s a popular section of oilmil market . I hope this helps
Inflation has affected the entire world. Their is no getting away from it.
Let’s be hopeful
Chai..I'm getting serious headaches listening to food prices 😮😮
It’s so painful for real, like I literally hate going to the market this days. The price you buy today is not even the same price you will buy tomorrow, it’s that bad
Where is this market?
Oilmil market and I mentioned the name of the market dear in the video
Is this really true😂
That bucket of onion 2700?
For real dear, I heard price have even dropped now . That’s actually the cheapest market i must say
The meat price is ok compared to my place
Wow at least that’s fair enough
The Nigerian economy is something else right now
There’s inflation all over the world
150k and you’ve not even bought house groceries Milo milk and all
God help us o
Like seriously you get it, I talked about it that I haven’t even gotten provisions like beverages and toiletries and 150k is gone, I just had to cut that part out so the video don’t get way too long. Provisions is even worst . I have a video on that coming up soon
Honestly it's not funny, when you hear prices of Comodities, your heart keep sinking. 150k minus 50k for meat alone, it will be a miracle if the remaining 100k will be enough for the rest foodstuffs. Hmmm!!!. Can you imagine? That small bag of crayfish 90k? Na wa ooo.
That small bag of crayfish use to be 30k . It’s crazy how we got to this point in Nigeria
To be frank, you cannot get half of wht you bought in Ghana.
Ghana is freaking expensive with a lot of greedy people in their markets.
Wow for real 😮 my goodness
@BECKYtheMOMMY Yeah and the market women keep on blaming the dollar.
Yes you are right. Even in Nigeria here i went to the market to buy rice and 25lt oil. This man was calling it 95k for vital exotic I was shocked, that same market I saw it for 88k. After pricing oil in the morning 54k only to buy other stuffs and went back sale rep telling me it is 55k so I must give them the 1k. Me that i am angry with the price of this I changed it for her immediately. The market men and women are too greedy these are old goods and you immediately want to start selling at the new price with old goods. May God help us.
@@GL-kitchen2230May God help us all for real 😮
If you spent 150k for all this, then Nne yuu did great 👍
Thank you dear
Every month prices increase
My dear sister every month is too far, literally every day there’s change in price
I think for the first thing is tell us which market you are that is the eccentric of doing the blog
I mentioned the name of the market in the video . OILMIL MARKET and I even wrote the location in my title . Please kindly pay attention to details before making corrections
