    Omg I need this so bad. Always thought it was weird but now that I've been into exercise and fitness this looks like the most helpful warmup!!!! Not only that but the music. Sends you into a trance like state. It truly is a mind, body, and spirit activity and perfect before any physical activity.
    Thanks for teaching.

    I've always loved this dance, it's beautiful. The reasoning behind it makes it even more beautiful. Anchitta, very well done! You would win that fight for sure

    You're also paying your respects to the Taiwanese Cobra. Seince the art of Muay Thai originated in Thailand. The Taiwanese Cobra is native to Taiwan & Thailand. The Cobra is one of 12 animals within the Zodiac it's supposed to bring you good fortune.

    Thanks for this, however, I am hoping that the better Wai Kru does not determine the better odds or else I am in trouble tomorrow. I am not nervous to fight... I am nervous to do this dance in front of people 555

    • @RunVixRun
      @RunVixRun 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awwww, this is so interesting....because I am so new to MT...and trying to learn everything around actually fighting to prepare. Of course I'm learning to fight.....but the peripheral things like fitness, stamina, flexibility, nutrition, weight.....and this dance, all seem much less scary than the fighting for me. So how did you go??

  • @deftrooper
    @deftrooper 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice routine 👍 I can see how there could be physical and mental benefits to this. Spiritually though, I'm curious, are you praying to God when you bow? Or showing humility to the art? Or both? Love and respect from a fellow martial artist🙏

    *Some facts about Kru Muay Association* The Kru Muay Association originated from the separation of the amateur Muay Thai from the professional Muay Thai. This division pursued the goal to have Muay Thai recognized as an Olympic discipline by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). A project that has not been successful until today. The officials of professional Muay Thai would like to have nothing to do with Kru Muay. For them this club is only a necessary evil. If you take a closer look, you will notice that all the so-called traditional teachers of the Kru Muay Thai Association have simply appointed each other as teachers and are now worshipped by wealthy foreigners once a year. The whole association is very political, but has less fighting competence than an average boxer in Rajadamnern Stadium or a Buakauw (who is a Cambodian and not a Thai by the way). Despite comprehensive state support, the Kru Muay Association still has no coherent teaching concept for traditional Muay Boran and Muay Thai is still not Olympic.
