Mohanlal's and Jagathi's characters are cousins in the film and trying to win over other person in local competitions. It's a must watch movie from 90s. Fun in the first half action in the second half.

Jagathy Sreekumar had completed his 1000th movie(Mohanlal's Narasimham) in the year 2000. Later after an an accident in 2011/12 while going to a shooting location, he has not acted in a movie thereafter.
Ashmitha! Yodha is an excellent movie, directed by Sangeeth Sivan who also has directed some Bollywood movies. Do have a watch and its a guaranteed fun ride. There is Puneeth Essar too, who has played as the antagonist. More than half of the movie is shot in Nepal. And its about Mohan Lal and a Nepali Buddhist Rimpoche (child who is considered an incarnation of Buddha), about their cute chemistry and bonding. Jagathy Sreekumar is the actor who has acted opposite Mohanlal in the song. He is a veteran comedy actor in Malayalam, known for his excellent comic timing and humour sense. He has done phenomenal roles in Malayalam for many decades. Also part of the cast is Madhoo, of Maniratnam's oppus 'Roja' movie fame . Have an enjoyable viewing experience :)
