Celtics were disrespected till the start of this season, “Mickey mouse champions” “easiest path ever” it doesn’t matter. The team is too deep, they play with elite unselfish ball movement. The stars/starters play defense.

Well said, add the fact Tatum and Brown feel extra disrespected on top of that because of the Olympics BS, forget it.

Celtics dominated every team they faced in the Playoffs & they would have destroyed Greek or Embiid the same.

    Its simple
    3’s high risk high reward
    Mid range don’t shoot em
And take it to the paint for a higher percentage shot

3's aren't high risk anymore which is why we see so many of them. League average for mid range shot right now is just under 42%. You only have to shoot 28% from 3 to get more points per shot than the league average at mid range. I think the most elegant solution that doesn't alter their years of past training is to make 3's worth fewer points by changing the values to something like 4 points for a 3 pointer and 3 points for a 2, but I just don't see something like that ever happening. You could also move the line back or change the arc so that it's equidistant to remove the ease of the corner 3, but then you're asking players get used to a different a court.

@@zfeazcesd1047 still high risk depending on the personnel on the team and coaching. You still have to get good shots and if you're team isn't shooting well, then you need something else to get going

@@IBlackSanta compared to a mid range it's not high risk. it's simple numbers, you have to shoot a much higher percent from midrange compared to a 3 for the same number of points. that's why you see 3s and layups because they get you the most points per shot. midrange was still a good shot when players were bad at 3's, but now they aren't that much more difficult than a long mid range. you have to be a VERY GOOD mid range shooter for it be more efficient than a layup or a 3. kevin durant's 57.1% from midrange is giving a team less points than someone shooting 38% from 3.

You don't seem to want to speak in English. But if you;re saying that having KP back spreads the floor even more for the Celtics. The secret of the Celtics? They ALL can shoot, and they ALL are plus defenders. The Celtics are second in the league in both offense and defense. Honestly, the only thing that can stop the Celtics from repeating is health. If a lot of guys get injured, they can be beat. But if they stay relatively healthy, NO ONE is beating them 4 games out of 7 in the playoffs.

Funny though all off season it was "they had an easy playoff run, they didn't play anyone, they played a #5 seed in the finals , blah blah blah" did the Mavs not make it through the west? All you can do is play who's in front of you and yah some stars were injured, but then again so was porzingas their starting center. And it's not like the series went 6-7 games they beat everyone 4-0 or 4-1. And their two best players are drafted home grown talent, and the Derek whites, holidays and porzingas were traded away by there former teams. No one knew who Derek white was before coming to Boston, holiday won a championship with Milwaukee and they traded him away, porzinga has been on 3-4 teams , al horford was literally on his couch before Boston traded to get him back and he's 38/39 years old. They play defense as well or better than anyone else and no one is selfish. Teams are just sour that kawaii, Paul George, James harden, Westbrook experiments didn't work and the Celtics had been knocking on the door for 3-4 years and finally found their stride. I didn't like mazzula hire at first but seems he's the best coach for this team and knows how to motivate this team.
