I was thinking the same thing. Loved the 1st one. The 2nd one was also good. I was surprised by the length of this 3rd version. Usually, they get shorter and shorter run time. I am excited to see where and how they expand the story line. I am at 21:19 and see where they have shortened scenes, so I can only imagine what they will do with almost 2 1/2 hours left.
I like all three versions and the chemistry is always good. It's also really sweet flash marriage story. But yeah, there is something really special about the one with Wang Yiran. It is fairly melodrama free. Happy to see Li Boyan doing the rounds but this didn't need to be almost 3 hours long.
Finally, an adequate FL. She tells her husband everything. Mostly in other scripts the FL’s usually keeps silent and because of this there are a lot of misunderstandings.
I like the version where ML and FL are xin Yi and brother zhu.they are also couple in real life and in this mini drama their acting is out of universe ❤❤
I feel like they ignore the main theme of the story that he is pilot and she is controller so doesn't most of the story should revoled around airport? As far as I know a pilot can't stay much with his family same goes for a controller because of their profession so how can they have so much time to stay with their family? So I still prefer first version there was no plot hole in that version everything was perfect 😞😞
This is the third version of this that I have watched because I really like the premise. Just started this one and hope it’s good the same as the other two.
I still prefer the version with Hou Cheng Yue and Wang Yi Ran. I think the FL lead here doesn't really do a very good job, she's a bit too cheerful and bright while being sharp with her words at the same time. I think Hou Cheng Yue portrayed the character better, still maintaining the gentle, graceful and polite aura. Her chemistry with Wang Yi Ran is really good, while these FL and ML doesn't have enough chemistry.
This is my first time seeing this FL actress and I'm finding that I like her a lot. Not only is she very pretty, her style of acting is very natural and realistic. I like the way the FL character is written too. Very down-to-earth but with a backbone. I've seen at least 2 other versions of this story (although, I think I've seen 3 already actually so this would be my fourth) and so far this one is right up there as being one of my favorites, mainly because I like the way way the lead characters are written and they way the actors are portraying them. It's working for me very much. Also, this has REALLY GOOD SUBS! That alone is making this viewing experience so much better than a couple of the other versions where the subs weren't quite as good. Bad subs take away from the enjoyment of the story because you spend so much effort trying to follow along with the story that you end up missing out a lot on the actual viewing experience. It prevents you from getting fully sucked in. I've only watched the first hour so far but I'm really enjoying this version. There isn't a single thing I haven't liked about it so far. Let's see if I can say that all the way through to the end. Fingers crossed!
Oh! I especially like the that SFL's relationship with the ML is handled proactively in this one. Before anything even happens the ML makes his relationship with the SFL clear to the FL and there's definitely no friendship between them when he interacts with the FL. I also like the the FL's confidence and strength doesn't waiver at all in front of the SFL. She sees through her tricks every single time, which makes sense when you think about how much she's probably seen it all over the years. She also IMMEDIATELY communicates with the ML about their interactions and tells him straight up exactly what's going on. She knows there's nothing between them. That aspect of the writing is by far the best I've seen out of all of the versions. Oh! There's also a comfortableness between them that comes through in their interactions, which makes sense since they were also classmates, but there's none of the over-the-top, super-awkwardness of them being strangers/newlyweds in their interactions. Yes, they're still maneuvering their feelings and slowly growing intimacy but it's happening in a realistic and natural way that makes sense. Again, that's all just based on what I've seen so far, within the first hour.
I see they introduced the SML early in this one. They did that too in one of the other 3 versions I've seen (I'm certain it's 3 now). One they only brought him in at the very end so it was really pointless. Another they brought him in towards the end and he stirred things up for a sec but it was still nothing significant. In the one they brought him in earlier on they had him make a little bit more effort in trying to win over the FL until he realized she was married. This one they tell him right away that she's married so I'm curious about how much we'll actually see him for the rest of the drama. As long as he doesn't cause problems I'm good. He hasn't in any of the other versions so I hope they keep it that way.
I like the FL's outfit but they literally only have her wearing it if she's not wearing her uniform or robe at home. However, the ML's outfits keep changing. Why do so many of these dramas do that nonsense?
Love the ML, Li Boyan. So this is another version, 3rd? (can’t remember) of the pilot and air controller. I love the plot BUT my favourite version still remains with Wang Yiran and Hou Chengyue . They did such a good job that I don’t think any other version can top it, especially Wang Yiran. Still a lovely story so worth watching. But did they dubbed Li Boyan’s voice here?? I much prefer his own voice!

I Really like this version because in this fl is more brave, strong and cheerfull than other versions and she very matured person. In beginning ml said "if i have a girlfriend and still come to blind date then i am bad do you think i would do that kind of thing" in other versions to ml said same but after step sister some words fl begin to think he loves moti but in this she didn't think like that. i like that. One of my favorites I can watch the story versions to the end. I love their relationship I love how the hero loves her quietly and without pressing her ,I love the heroine's character, she is strong and kind and talks about everything that goes on in her mind The hero is the husband of our dream he is handsome compassionate He is seeking his wife's satisfaction The cutest thing is the end of the story when he was afraid that she would leave him or divorce him.😭The best thing is to read her diary. And He wished he had realized his love for her sooner. I wish every girl to marry her love of life Or at least marry a husband like him to be loved . Every girl deserves this for sure 🥹💜
To answer what everyone is looking for in the comments - chemistry wise, this is not as good as the first 2 versions, but still a great story and good watch.

I just want to take out time to appreciate wardrobe when it comes to this plot especially their air controller uniforms. All 3 versions I’ve watched, none has disappointed me in acting, plot, chemistry and wardrobe. ML’s fit to the school reunion is how I’d expect a pilot to dress (it’s just a fashion trend I feel fit them especially when they pair it with the vintage classic metal frame glasses 😍) …so yeah just liked how he looked. Love this plot!
ML : Li Boyan/Li Baiyan FL : Pan Xinyi This is the 3rd version of this plot I have seen. V1 is with Wang Yiran and Hou Chengyue and V2 is with Zhu Yiwei and Bai Xinyi. Love the plotline. Both leads were not weak. I love that the story just revolves around them growing and stabilizing their relationship. I certainly appreciate that despite the many things that the 2FL was telling about the FL, ML was steadfast in the FL side of things and have always supported her. Adding this to my Watch it Again list. Happy watching!

2nd version it took nearly the end like last hr for leads to have their romance scene... took abit too long. Probably expected more because afterall they are a married couple in real life too, so expect more romance scene.

Nah Wang yiran is the original version. Bur I heard that sadly got deleted on TH-cam. Wang yiran version and zhu yiwei version were way better then this. More chemistry. I'm only stayed because of male lead.
The plot is that he’s her crush but she acts like they were strangers on the street who are in a forced marriage. She doesn’t have any chemistry with handsome Li Boyan which makes her a bad actress.

In this version, she's a little spicy! Although in all she gains her courage and bark back, this one she didnt even allow them to speak crazy at all. ❤ that for her! I always sit here like, how the heck do they let people speak crazy for 5 minutes without 1. Walking away 2. smack ts out of them

In this version, she's a little spicy! Although in all she gains her courage and bark back, this one she didnt even allow them to speak crazy at all. ❤ that for her! I always sit here like, how the heck do they let people speak crazy for 5 minutes without 1. Walking away 2. smack ts out of them
