I get what your saying. a fighter knows when its time bit sometimes they dont. bjs shouldn't have said what he said but what I will say is bjs did show alot of heart when he suffered the horrific injury v canelo there was still well over a minute in the round and bjs never went down he carried on and got to his corner and his corner pulled him out the fight. DDD took a knee as he knew himself his injury was getting too bad for him to go on.

Canelo almost landed that punch twice shortly before the finish, BJS just didn't recognise the danger. He was thinking long game at that point and Canelo was teeing him up, he'd worked out the punch needed. Arguably better than Tank's uppercut.

Not really, been hit by plenty of fighters who have done damage to my face but not necessarily felt there power, you take the shots most the time and asses damage on corner as you don’t realise how hard you were hit. Let Billy Joe Saunders continue to fight another round or two and I bet he will feel the explosive power. Another thing worth mentioning is that no matter how much adrenaline you have, you will feel the power when you get hit to the body. BJS got hit by some crazy body shots and he knows he felt them. But Billy being Billy is playing tough guy as a way to navigate out of the criticism he received for quitting!

And then he injured the other fighter. Didn't knock him out. Didn't break his will. It ended because of an eye injury. I'm not a fan of either fighter I'm completely objective. Neither fighter is very impressive they just fight in a thinned out era in thin weight classes.

@Jimmy Tappy Canelo was not a drug cheat during the fight against Billy Joe. They had VADA testing for that fight. Fury cheated with this gloves in both fights. He won't be able to do that on October 9th.

Canelo was barely levels above him. He caught him with one great shot and that was it
@@chrismason4449 Facts. I had it 4-4 at time of stoppage. BJS started slowly but was warming into it in the middle rounds.
People let hate blind them and the end result dictate their view of the entire fight.

@@chrismason4449 I had Canelo up 6-4 against Plant but the result was as expected. Plant always fades late on in fights and he became really passive from the counter threat.
Respect to the man for getting the job done, he is a great fighter undoubtedly. But I do not find his style aesthetically pleasing and his horde of fanboys turn me off him.
Going undisputed at SMW is a good achievement. However, there is a reason he abandoned MW! He looked very beatable against GGG x2 and Jacobs. Should have fought Charlo and Andrade there. He has the opportunity to elevate himself to FMJ level legacy (not skill) if he becomes undisputed at LHW imo.
