Great Video like always! I really enjoy the style of your Videos ! I am happy to see more of your great Tips! I am also creating PremierePro Tutorials and Davinci Resolve Tutorials for Underwater Video Footage but in german language.
Great video, but please turn down the resolution on the screen when recording it. I usually watch videos on a phone or small tablet. Impossible to see the menus.
Really cool tips! But I was wondering if you could please use the English version of the software so we have a better reference of the menu. Thanks and keep up the superb work! :D
Great video. I've been putting off creating proxies for a long time but now with 4k footage I have to. Just leave them creating overnight like u suggest and editing is so much easier the next day. BUT my question.... Storage space.... Do you delete the proxy files after your project is finished or keep them? I guess there is no reason yo keep them right?
Thanks for the videos! If you are going to get into the process of creating proxies why don't you create your proxies in a friendlier format for editing (DNx or Prores) instead of H264. You can continue working on the native resolution on a very friendly to edit codec. The way you described in the video you create hard to edit H264 files of lower resolution. Doesn't really make a lot of sense unless you are out of space and need something very compressed.
good point! :) it really just depends on your preferences and if you are working on MAC or PC. Of course you can choose to convert the files to the format/codec you prefer. I choose mp4 because I am on PC and they work fine for me. Also I have tons of data, so I like to keep my files small. But of course, you are right too! Thanks :)
@@ReefPatrol thanks for replying. MP4 is just a container is not a codec. The codec you are working on the video is H264 which is very compressed and thus hard to edit. Since you are on windows try to create proxies in DNx. I think you will like it (leave the original resolution dont have to lower it). Keep it up!
Woman, let me tell you this: - before she retires, Angela should give you a medal and a kiss! - Angela WHO? Well... Merkel, of course! I love you German Genious mermaid! Thks so much for sharing... I’m watching each of your videos over and over and over again... Best regards from PORTUGAL >

we don't delete them, because they really are small file sizes :)
