I made a video on a similar title and YT suggested this one as,, next,,
    so I am here.
When I was first starting in my business and came to face this problem I figured out very quickly that the majority of advice are made for people who have no objections talking to the camera and love selling or those who will put profits above anything else. You see I am not them.
I am an introvert and activist who runs a non-profit and coaching business where
people come always first. That's why I made a channel where I show my fellow introverts, activists, and non-profits
how I do it without selling soul and compromising on our values and our true self. But I encourage you to watch this video. Some good gems here!

Ok, I am just about 5mins into the video...but yeah, my friends and family have always been asking for my help in writing emails, messages etc. I work for a media company right now as a writer but we don't have a niche. While I enjoy writing and am considered an asset to my company, 80% of the work I am assigned to write for don't really excite me. Now I wish to start my own little business writing about stuff in which I am more interested. And yes, I wish to learn! Ok, now back to your video.

My friends mostly ask about Social Media and Brand Photography which I always chalk up to my years as fashion blogger.

We felt the same way! We felt like it was a horrible idea, then ended up niching and didnt know it haha. Then we when we went broad it started falling apart, so guess what we did? WE NICHED EVEN FURTHER

Yes! Niching feels scary...educators (especially non-traditional educators) tend to be a pretty DIY crowd. I'm wondering how it's going to look as I pursue that niche. Will I have to sell them on the idea of content writing before even selling them on my services specific to them?

Cambrya! So, with anything for anyone, you have to sell the idea of handing something off FIRST before the services. Why do they need to hand certain things off so they can keep their plates clear and stay focused?? You can sell them on having more time etc. Does that make sense?? xx.

I love your brand and message so much. I am STRUGGLING with creating the brand and voice for my copywriting business that is as polished and consistently lovely as yours - and that part is one of my WHYs (creating a brand I am in love with). Any advice or recommended resources? Blessings!

Totally understand where you're coming from, Susanne. For me, my consistent voice is a product of always knowing exactly who I'm talking to and what resonates with them. Know your niche (and drill down so it's super specific) and you'll know your voice. xx. Ash
