The homeless guy is from India. I can tell from his accent and his loves of hot chillies. Initially he never understood what Dave was saying. When Davey was constantly sayimg one through ten, in his mind he thought he was saying eat the pizza as fast as you can. He eventaully clocked on and gave a respectable pro score
The countdown misunderstanding makes sense seeing how he was trying to eat it fast.
