Yes once a month it’s good to condition them to keep them from cracking

Do you recommend using polish as well after conditioning your boots? I have a pair of black cherry ostrich boots from Lucchese and I’ve heard people say they use polish but I’m not sure what it’s purpose is.
Yes neutral should be okay .. try it on a small section
I use Bickmore Exotic and a made in USA 100% horse hair brush,, the rest is history.

Saphir reptan is the best… Bickmore exotic second best.. I was a long time bickmore exotic user and decided to try Saphir… I was amazed.. it’s pricey but man my caiman lucchese loved it. Made the hide very soft after leaving it over 24hrs, came back with a 100% horse hair brush and it shined like never before..
Hey I got some Justin ostrich boots from boot barn. My boots seem to be cracking. What should I do? I have used bickmore exotic conditioner and also bick 4. But it’s I only helping a little bit. I have done 2 heavy coats of exotic and 3 of bick 4. The smaller cracks have come out. I am needing help with the bigger cracks.

Question. I gotta pair of Alligator / Caiman boots and it's really cracking and peeling off badly. What do you recommend for restoration????
You can try to glue them then use some paint.. but once the skin rips they are done

Could I use the scout cleaner on pearl white ostrich? It won’t change the color? Would you say that cleaner is better than the angelus reptile cleaner
Also saw you using a water and stain repellent in another one of your videos would that also be necessary
Yes you can use the scout in pearl white .. but test it on a small section first.. and yes I like scout more .. the repellent it’s really up to you .. 👍👍

They shouldn’t really do that but if you can physically peel it off then I probably would

I got a new pair of ostrich skins but they unfortunately got soaked from water one day recently and I think it may have left some marks. Would this process work to help restore the shoes?

I believe so.. I noticed when I clean mine it darkens then lightens after it dries

How do you stretch ostrich boots
We have some spray that can help or a boot stretcher at a shoe shop can help but it depends how much you need to stretch out.. since leather and exotic skin can only give a bit
If you order a pair from them, be prepared to wait a longass time.
Haven't received my order going on a month now, they say there are "problems in the warehouse" and offered to cancel my order.
