stupidest doors ever built can't close or lock mine from the outside so all the heat from the house escapes when i nip out to the recycling bin, waste bin etc.....can't wait to get new ones

The balcony catch is a piece of equipment that is responsible for keeping the door closed when the handle is not in a locked position, which it sounds like it is not working. I agree with you 100%. Buy cheep regular or good sliding expensive door.
NEVER tilt and slide door!!! Never!!!
