Why I ask is because I bought a DION Power Mark XX guitar from Japan in 1982, the best guitar I have ever owned, and I wonder if I should go that route. What happened at 11:34, sounds like an accordion? 18 minutes gone in a flash, what happened? ;)
Fun thing is, with your playing I can learn by just listening too. Btw, is there someything you can do with complex rythms, filled up with ghost notes, like the Purdie Shuffle but more complex? I'm just curious how groovy you can get. 😄
Mattias, i noticed that you seem to hold your pick a little differently. Seems your index finger does most of the gripping, with your pointer floating. Is this an intentional thing, or is it just more comfortable for you? I use my index for the majority of my grip after cutting some tendons off my pointer finger as a kid. The intonation compensated frets must be a challenge to get used to. Mattias makes it look effortless! Master level player!!
