    I have such an admiration for any musician who can truly be themselves musically. It is surprisingly rare. Mattias is one such musician. Keep doing what you do Mattias, it is appreciated more than you could possibly know.

    Effortless. Otherworldly. Thoroughly enjoyable. Production aside, any margin of error is non-existent.
    Side note: IA, Bumblefoot and Buckethead form - in the best possible way, the triumvirate of Earth’s Scariest Axemen.

    After being metal fan for a 15 years, I struggle to listen guitar solos now, and enjoy the rhythm guitar. That’s strange...

    • @MFKitten
      @MFKitten 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I get it. I think it's more that the threshold for what makes a solo great is so high nowadays. Whenever I write, a guitar solo will be more of a nice singing melody rather than something fast.

    Gah! I KNEW you were going to throw in something like the tapping part at 11:32.. You madman, why are you doing this? And up 'til then I was doing so good. =) Nevermind, all things considered, it wasn't as bad as the one in "On". Now that one was tough.

    Beautiful! Not easy to do and the CLEARITY of the performance is outstanding, love the swing BTW! :) Mattias, is there any difference between playing a regular guitar versus a true temperamental guitar? Why I ask is because I bought a DION Power Mark XX guitar from Japan in 1982, the best guitar I have ever owned, and I wonder if I should go that route. What happened at 11:34, sounds like an accordion? 18 minutes gone in a flash, what happened? ;)

    Mattias, i noticed that you seem to hold your pick a little differently. Seems your index finger does most of the gripping, with your pointer floating. Is this an intentional thing, or is it just more comfortable for you? I use my index for the majority of my grip after cutting some tendons off my pointer finger as a kid. Keep all this awesome content coming! Cheers from Vancouver BC, Canada!
