Very interesting & well organized. I desire there were more videos like this, but with other rides. When I was a kid, 1 of the "things" I desired becoming was a carnival worker. Everything fits into its proper place.
I've got a few questions. For one 1 at 7:00 they tie a orange cord around 2 sweeps just so they could take off the first 2 rims?? Why would they do that?? Also what's the point of the winch on the left if the rim drives are what's folding the wheel up?? Lastly why do they untie all the folds sweeps so they kinda pop out at 9:57? Also how long did the tear down take??
I would suspect that the orange tether is used to reduce the strain on the bolts for the first two rims. Easier pulling of the bolts. Same goes for the winch, I guess. It's not good if all that stuff swings freely. What happens if it does is visible at 9:57 - I guess there's no tiedown for those parts except for that on the other side, as seem at 10:50

This is really cool how everything fits on one truck bed.
I have know idea why but woke up in the middle of night wondering how they transport Farris wheels..mystery solved.
I love this video. I worked on the rides before. Its nice to see! 😉

The ride operators have it easy on set up and teardown now a days
@Louis Kyson you are an alt account of the guy you are responding to
What about during the 1960's & 1970's? Was it very difficult back then compared with these days, the 2020's?
What a brilliant piece of engineering.

Smaller than a chance wheel, yet more work.
@@steverennings9020 probably cheaper than a chance one tho.
Because they put fence and lock the wheels on the rail
AWESOME !!!!!😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁
Can’t believe it only takes 17 min to set up
