This little girl is incredible. Just 8 years old and already so mature because of the harsh realities that she's had to experience at such a young age. It's incredible how she was able to pick up Spanish so quickly, especially since Ukrainian and Spanish are such different languages. I started tearing up when she said she wanted to dedicate her performance to all the children and adults in Ukraine right now, her home country. Edit: The performance was incredible as well, but being just 8 years old and already going through so much just creates a sense of wonder for how she was able to stay so calm and collected during her routine. Edit: Her father is still in Ukraine fighting the war and she's in Spain with her mother, it's just heartbreaking. She shouldn't have to go through that at such a young age-or ever! I don't normally cry at these things, but she really got to me. I can't imagine being forced to flee from your home and family to escape a war - especially as a child. You can see the clear sorrow in her eyes when she talks of her country, but at the same time you can see such strength and determination. I have a daughter and granddaughters, and I couldn't help but cry at this. It was so touching. This girl has been through so much, and she still put on a beautiful dance performance. I hope she wins.
I love her humility and love of her country and people. She is Also dressed modestly and no make up. She is a child. We can learn so much from her and her presence.
I was bursting in tears every time I looked at her innocent smile and face. She was aware of what was going on but at the same time she didn't completely understand what she had to go through. Keep moving forward, young girl! You have bright and promising future ahead of you!
Not only is she absolutely adorable and a wonderful dancer but she has that very specific something that makes people want to watch her. I truly hope she continues.
Her performance, followed by her heartbreaking words, immediately brought me to tears. From Canada, my heart goes out to all those in Ukraine who are suffering because of this senseless war.
I'm glad she's strong enough to go on and pursue her dream in this context. I'm glad she found a safe space in Europe willing to help her out. I hope this war will end soon enough and not crush her more than she is already. I hope she'll have a brilliant, peaceful future.
As much as this is heartbreaking, it is also a reminder to adults that we need to do better. It is our duty to make sure children do not know this pain that she, and many other children, are facing because of wars. It is in our duty that we strive for a better world for them. She is so talented and such a reminder that the actions we cause have a strong effect on others.
Any eight years old can dance like her, but her courageous heart is unbeatable. To be able to smile and show a brave face, focusing on her dance while nursing a big hole in her tiny, young heart due to war trauma is immense. I know this is only a show but it is real and heart felt all the way here in California.
I have to disagree. She does have really good footwork going on. As we'd call it she has "beautiful feet". You can see that she worked very hard on the muscles supporting that. The choreography however is really bad. It is not able to show what she is surely capable of. What a bad choice of her teacher, I'd say.
I've watched it 5 times already - I cry every time and I'm delighted. And whenever I hear that a child has died in Ukraine, my heart is torn apart. 🤍 I wish us all peace.

We're all used to shock and awe and drama like Dance Moms and competition, that we sometimes forget the art and elegance that is ballet. It's subtle, precise, and beautiful. This young lady exemplified that. And coming from her area of the world that is renowned for their ballet, I love to see the tradition and culture live on through her.
Thank you for giving that beautiful young lady something more precious than that buzzer. You gave her love, compassion and hope for her future. May God protect her through life and may she soar in her dreams. ❤

For those who think its not adequate, you need to ask yourself have you even thought of representing your country at age 8. We all have to admit, we were not well spoken, sensible and likeable at this age. She totally deserves it
What a precious little girl!! Gorgeous, talented and very graceful dancer!! She is headed for great things in her ballet career❤❤❤ My heart is broken for Ukraine. So much suffering for nothing😢

This beautiful & very talented little 8 year old girl was dancing this night not just for herself but, knowing the circumstances of conflict in her country, was also dancing for all those young children in her war torn country who are not able to carry on with their daily, everyday lives & activities (like dance) as before in peace. She realizes her good fortune to be able to dance her beautiful craft and appealed for support for her country and proud people. Bravo, young lady, you deserve the golden buzzer!!! I have no idea what pain and suffering she is dealing with right now. I have never seen such a talented girl, but with a painful life. She must have lost so many things we have and need right now. But the only thing that she hasn't lost yet was hope. And hope is more important than money, credit cards, and even the internet itself! She clearly deserves the golden buzzer, she's worked for it. And I know for sure, that she didn't work hard for, she worked intelligent..
I had to grab at least 10 tissues. She is so sweet, precious, and more importantly a survivor. She is living proof that despite the seemingly impossible obstacles something good can come out of a bad situation. I pray she can reunite with her family soon and I pray that the rest of Ukraine can heal to. Thank you Edurne for giving her the opportunity to shine despite all odds. She deserved that golden buzzer

I've never been this moved by a performance. What a beautiful, talented young lady
Brought me such joy to watch. Thank you so much for sharing and Slava Ukraina.
I couldn't hold back my tears while watching this amazing cute little girl perform her ballet dance ...God blessed you girl and the people of Ukraine ❤FR.PHILIPPINES 🙏🇺🇦🇵🇭❤⚘
The way they both cried at the end, made me cry too. Hope she goes back to her homeland. 😭💓💓
She’s now in the states.
Rozvážná láskavá kultivovaná porota... ďakujem ... A dievčatko neskutočne talentované a pôvabné...mier
I was crying like a baby watching this; what an incredibly composed young woman she is at only 8yrs old,...amazing! Her performance was outstanding. She is so graceful and delightful to watch. I wish her (and her family and country) all the best for a peaceful and prosperous future.
For those who think its not adequate, you need to ask yourself have you even thought of representing your country at age 8. We all have to admit, we were not well spoken, sensible and likeable at this age.
She totally deserves it
I’m not crying my eyes are watering. Her country should have never suffered like this. Bless her and Ukraine.
Such a wonderful and resilient little girl and a remarkable performance and thank you to Spain and stay strong Ukraine, from Canada ❤
What a precious little girl!! Gorgeous, talented and very graceful dancer!! She is headed for great things in her ballet career❤❤❤ My heart is broken for Ukraine. So much suffering for nothing😢
I’m not crying. You are. I’m a grown man. I’m definitely not crying. Oh my gosh. Her face and her sincerity. All that aside, she is an extraordinarily good dancer. She obviously lives for dance. You can see it in every action. I wish her every success and I do hope she gets to meet her love ones soon.
I'm a now 15 year girl from the U.S. I saw this 2-3 weeks ago and and can't stop watching again. I cry every time I watch it. Search her name on TH-cam and there is a channel. There are a couple of videos that are just so cute. They're from over a year ago, so it was before the war. Then, watch this again and you gain even a bigger perception (and more tears).
Don't be afraid to cry, sir. As a wise person once said, "You don't cry because you are weak, but because you have been strong for far too long."
@@mushroomsupremacy2081 Sir? 🤣
I am so crying and my sympathy is for the Ukrainian people. This little girl is really something special.✌
It's not the beauty,or the talent she have but the purity of her heart ♥ No judges can bring her down .
This brought me to tears instantly, she’s a beautiful, fierce little girl. Im so glad she got that golden buzzer, I can see the pride in her eyes it’s beautiful.
Молодець ти неймовірна талановита красуня!!! Твоя ВІРА В ПЕРЕМОГУ НАДИХАЄ!!! Будь завжди такою зірочкою Україночкою!!!
What a beautiful child, and a magnificent dancer. Her talent is as big as her heart.Bless her
Beautiful child and a beautiful dancer. I was in ballet for many years and she's very talented. I wish the best for her and her family.
Slava, Ukraine!!!👍🙂❤️❤️🙏 🙏🙏
her dancing was so energetic, you can see that she loves to do it. that's the most important thing at that age, more than being good - it has to make you happy.
hopefully she does well in this competition, and then can go home and do well in the next series of the ukrainian show too, soon.
God bless you child!!! God bless Ukraine and Thank you Spain. All love from the Philippines!! ! ❤❤❤
Zlata, thank you for you, and others, bringing Ukraine to the world. Ukrainians are truly wonderful people who care for everyone and their culture. Beautiful!
Kids like her should be playing and just being children. Not having to worry about war. My support is with Ukraine

Its pretty amazing such a young girl speak with a lot of passion and energy that can make a change. She is really amazing as an individual.
I can't hold my tears for this lovely little girl. You deserved for that golden buzzer. Praying that your country Ukraine will be healed and will rise strong again.
Zlata, you are VERY talented and well-spoken as well as adorable! I'm so glad you got the golden buzzer! I pray that war will one day be extinct on earth and that we will all get along. I pray for you and your family and friends, your country and its people and that you can return soon and live in peace! I have a dear friend old enough to be your great grandmother who joined the Peace Corps at age 69 and volunteered in Ukraine for a few years before the pandemic hit. She wants to go back sometime, God willing, once the war is over and help some more. Love will ALWAYS win over evil!
Es imposible ver a ésta niña y no emocionarse, HERMOSA.
Well done sweetheart. We are with you and all those in Ukraine. God bless you all. You will get freedom one DAY. XX
This little girl talks more passionately about life and of the pride in her country more eloquently than any adult . I hope she can return to Ukraine in peace very soon ... Slava Ukraini ! Love and light from the UK
Very well done... I would gladly hit the golden buzzer for this performance if I'm one of the judges
A beautiful and courageous child and a graceful performance... she has heart and soul. i am grateful to have experienced this moment in history when all people can come together to share in the joy of a child, a young lady, an artist who has been through the horrific things that are transpiring in her country! May God grant her and all Ukraine peace in the very near future.
A new shining star is born with a bright future ahead of her , She shows maturity and professionalism at such an young age. The world is her stage now and let her dance for us. We're so happy for her I wish her the very best and brightest future to come for her !!
Our little Ballerina will Dance now !!!
I support Ukraine. This brought me to tears.
I don´t support the ukrainian nazis fighting and dying in the US proxy war against Russia.
mee too
I had to grab at least 10 tissues.
That was beautiful I'm honestly crying now. Blessing for Ukraine! 💛💙
Slava Ukraine!
Punjab supports you!

Omg.. I've seen alot throught this war that is heartbreaking. This made me cry with sadness and joy. Amazing that a little girl going through so much can still tell the world to dream and be inspired. Bravo 👏 👏 👏 😭🤧🥰 Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦 💪
You are loved young lady. The whole world loves you. For who you are and what your dedication went to. Bless you, mom, dad, teacher, judges, and all who supported her.
This is amazing! Thank you spain and Ukraine this has brought so much tears to me. ❤
Gorgeous little girl with great ballet talent and linguistic skills. Her future will be bright! Her strength in the face of adversity (situation in the Ukraine and having to flee) at that age amazes me!! So mature. Kudos to her mom/parents, too. I recently have met Russians fleeing their country as well. It is very sad to say the least. They are amazing people.
That was one hell of a dance.. Simple but elegant.. You have a great career ahead of you young lady..
It must be the hardest thing a baby Gil’s has to do to prove to herself and others without her family! May the Lord Jesus gives her the opportunity to be United with all her loved ones!
She is a tough kid. Sweet, strong and still has kindness and love I side her. Well spoken and hard working. She will thrive
The world needs this kind of child. A hopeful, a dreamer and a brave kid❤🥺
She is so beautiful...at her age she already understands what she is been through...ohhh this made me cry

She is dancing like an angel. I have 2 daughters, and 👀 this just crushed my heart. Please stop that war 😭
What an amazing little lady. Her dancing was very elegant. Additionally, she spoke Spanish fluently. I hope she becomes a well known ballerina. God bless her. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺
