Tallaght, a unique multicultural part of Dublin, one of Europe's fastest growing areas over the last forty years, is an excellent tourist focal point. The historic village and modern Square area have quick access to the rural and mountain landscape as well as the historic core of the capital. The river Dodder, flowing through Tallaght, is a capital city river where you can still catch fresh fish.
