Personally I really like the voice, probably a bit biased as the 1999 version is the how I got into hxh but to me this is how he sounds, I think it suits him honestly

I usually hate fillers in anime, but the fillers in the 1999 version didn't feel like fillers at all. They were done well and jived in with the story. You could also tell that the makers of the 1999 version really loved showing Killua's dark side as it showed a lot in those fillers.
1999's Killua was done better character was since his behavior at the beginning of the anime is closer to how he is at the beginning of the manga. It also maakes more sense for his character.
I love how Killua'a skin is ripped from his ankles when he frees himself from Phinks. It's much more accurate than the "burning" marks he gets in 2011...
No, it was faithful to the manga in that scene, that's why he looked like that. It was the exact same smile as the manga, go read it. (It happens in volume 3 btw)
You know, as much as a few people mention that Gon smiled when Killua crushed the serial killer's heart near the beginning of the video, I don't think they realized that Gon's smile could be interpreted as more NERVOUS than outright nonchalant; it's also possible he had been a bit shaken by Killua's savagery there (listen to his brief but audible "shudder," so to speak), for lack of a better term. I mean no harm and it's POSSIBLE it's subject to interpretation, but those are my thoughts.

The next morning when they return the cub to Konta, Mito appreciates Gon & Killua for their work & hugs them,( I really love this scene, Killua's facial expression says it all, he had never been treated like this ever, the way Mito threats both of them like her sons, thet scene was really beautiful) & In the end we can see that the cub now has Nen ability too-
I like killua’s voice in this dub so much more than the 2011 version. It sounds more like how I’d expect killua’s voice to sound instead of a generic child’s voice like 2011.
