No need to flag. Even if Josh's cover *is* one of the 'ingredients' in the remix, this is different enough that I like this while I don't like Josh's original version (sorry, just personal taste, the guitar riffs sound a bit out of tune and that pretty much ruins it for me). And making a remix is no trivial task in itself, and the person who did this did a good job. But I agree, the uploader should at least attribute the two covers he used to make this in his description.
Also, to be fair, I don't think Josh's version is even in there. The percussion is completely different, the voice track is different, the guitar has a different tone, there's extra riffs not present in Josh's version, the expression and rhythm in the solo part is all different ... I think you just assumed someone stole your work and got (understandably) upset, without really examining it closely. It's certainly not the "main" cover used in any case, even if it is in there.
If you are the creator, perhaps you could edit it and fix the guitar bending part under “go cry about it why don’t you” Mayer did the bends to sound like a woman crying. The bending in this rendition totally misses that imo.
