Hii channel ni ya Norah yayee 😂❤❤❤❤my love for Norah 😢gonga like if you love this family and my desire to bring up my daughter the same ways still remains ❤❤
Aki it must feel nice to have rich parents😊. My main objective in high school was to save my little pocket money as much as possible, so that I would buy some clothes at the end of the term. My parents would pay school fees but home clothes would be once a year, so I had to save for that. Thank God we had no school canteen.
I didn't have the privilege of attending a prestigious school, but I gained understanding, especially during my first year in secondary school. The primary factor leading to overspending is impulsive buying, which refers to purchasing goods and services without prior planning. For instance, if you see your friend enjoying a snack and feel the urge to have one even though you're not hungry, controlling that impulse can help you learn to prioritize effectively.
When i was in high 2007 to 2010 my dad used to give me 2k Pocket money and our boarding school had no mid term.We had two visiting days in a term ...i loved saving i used to use only 1k per term and when the school closes i used to have saved 4k and go home with 4k...the school food was pathetic but i said eved if my dad is rich i would eat what others eat and i got used to eating githeri which was only boiled with oil akuna kukaranga...we were only given escort for breakfast only on Wednesday and Sundays the rest days una ji buyia escort...i used to see my elder brother saving his pocket money I decided i will be like him... imagine when i finished hi school i bought a phone 🤳 of 15k which was a very nice phone out of my hi skul saving money 💰...you teaching her well dear mi i have never been taught how to save money i just copied my brother how he survived
Thanks so much for this video, I live in the US, and my high school daughter has the same problem she's in a very good school with very good food, but she still has to spend money on canteen food she spends so much. I wish I had had such conversations while she was in form 1 or way before!
This is a good conversation, she's so confident in the way she defends her opinions. I used to get 300bob as pocket money and i would see how content my mother used to be after giving me that...i never asked for more but it would pain me. I went for one trip because it was academic and we were going to my dream university (Egerton,Njoro) so for that i begged and pressured her. Luckily i managed to join the school 😊 I'm happy Norah can get that plus the education on the same👏👏👏Good job mama
Very good conversation. I think Norah's voice is not so clear, I believe it is the positioning of the mic. Next time, let it be on the side she is looking towards.
Norah baby girl. You will never win a money conversation with your mum. My lovely mum asked me for a 30k loan the other day (I'm in my 20's). She was very polite while at it btw. She even came up with the debt collection date herself. So when the d-day came, it so happened that it coincided with another issue that equally required money. She had to do some title deed transfer and all those documents that come with owning land. She had also tecently purchased that piece of land hence why she was broke in the first place. Now, my dear, I was okay with us pushing the debt collection date to a later date. Please tell me why when the date came my darling mother told me, I should not consider the money a debt or a losssince I will even inherit the land. Hivo ndio nilioshwa.😂😂 The long and short is that, if black tax was a person then myself and my wonderful mum should be the photo.
Norah I salute you for lending a friend provided they refund you I rem being so broke in high school n a friend used to lend me some money then I refund later that was life saving why lie!!!
But she's not expensive 😂 like a whole Norah just 5K per term aha i expected her talk of 8+k amazing ❤you can do this Nora we're waiting for end term for the balance for us who never got that chance of money let's work for our future kids ❤
Wueh!!! Kids of nowadays 5k 😅things have changed aki i used to be given 1500 for the whole term without even midterm and still save like 500,but i understand things have changed, if parents have money let them spend it on their kids and give them the best
For me as a same high schooler i would support that having a budget is a great thing 🙃.. actually great........but all in all there are some small things that comes to destroy up the budget that you've planned on ..e.g 🤔 temptation zinakuanga mob in highschool 😅 ..so huwa in ruin the whole budget ....✔️.... Lakini Noorah anafai kuji manage coz ....eiish ku kula kuku😂 in school is something else ..........👉( Kwetu ni githeri everyday at lunch ....) .. otherwise that was a nice conversation
Am also in high school but I think our "cantins" introduce a deaper per pressure since we dont buy Food because we need it no its because people see as if you are poor and always begging It is always bad when you see people have a snack and you dont yet you have money I think that should be the concern
Late response.. but you will never have the children understand the value of money until you have them work fot it. Example wash dishes 200bob, osha gari 200 bob.. what they need to understand is that in order to replenish their reserves they have to work. That will change their entire view.
