  • Omar Al-Shaheen vs Tony Chohan from the 2022 International Open One Pocket event.
    These two players were both in the final four of the 2021 International Open One Pocket event, and they don’t disappoint in this year’s matchup either. This is a great aggressive match with Chohan playing like Chohan, and Al-Shaheen staying right with him the whole way.
    Mark Wilson and John Schmidt handle the commentary.

      spot on. Actually ... John can be really funny when he relaxes. Not only would he beat my ass at pool but he'd make me laugh when I finally got a shot.

    BTW ... the first time John played Tony in Reno..? I staked him. lol. It was a CRAZY match. I thought Tony was screwed ... he tried to knock John's game ball off the table, instead it doubled the pocket, went in for TONY -- and he won that game if I recall correctly.

    32:33 can anyone explain why tony didn't go for 3-8 combo? Is he afraid to lose position or maybe afraid to make both balls?

    • @vin9277
      @vin9277 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd say both things are true.

      The cue ball would go all the way back up table and you don't know where the 3 is going to end up. It could go in like you said or freeze to the end rail or leave you straight in. Another option is play the left rail first like Mark said then you can just roll it and get around the 3 that way. When a ball is hanging in the jaws like that you will notice that most pros prefer to draw it straight out and not touch any rails because they can control it better. If you have a good draw stroke and you're playing on new cloth it's safer.

    What an awesome match to watch. Also commentating was way better without dileberto. I like the guy but man was I sick of hearing his ....he left a bank....no he didnt.... lmao

      I hear you on Dilberto. Great legend but he went senile. Didn't belong in the booth. I always muted the commentary when he was on.
