I really wish they leaned into the "All Knowing" thing by having him come with different spells depending on the player's build. Come in with lots of magic? He's got all the anti-magic spells. Come in with a greatshield? He's got the spells that hit through/around shields. Bonus points if he also buffs himself against your primary damage types.
That would be a nightmare to program, most likely. But there is more they could have done with him. Imagine if he cast Law of Regression after his speech. You spend his speech buffing yourself, and then he just removes them. He has Law of Causality with one hit left active during his speech, so any attack will just explode in your face. He can read whether your magic damage negation or holy damage negation is lower, and focuses on that damage type. Has more defensive options like Black Flame Protection, for example.
Ngl, I was genuinely hoping he'd use also stuff Ranni or Rennala's moons, Eternal Darkness or Thops Parrier, or Carian Retaliation (spell version) to counter my own spells - it'd feel like he acknowledges the player's build. Alas, it usually plays out similarly - u either let him cook, or bum rush him.
@@Zyk0th | If it was simply swapping out what spells he could cast, I don't think it'd be too hard to set up. HUGE fan of your ideas, though!
