Thank you so much for sharing. My first half of live lived in DongLi district where there were a lot of colleges. I did not go back for 30 years and with your video I was so impressed by their changes. It reminded me Beijing's subway. I hope they remain the same for a very very long time as I know they were running under the loan and the covid destroys the economy and it needs money for the subway to run. Harbin is always the poorest place among huge cities in China, I mean cities over 10 million people. They have huge burden from many retirees. Their economy policies were bad and young and capable people already left for southern states or even overseas. I still love my hometown, no matter poor or rich, smart or stupid.

@@saarland2china Umm you could say that well actually I'm planning to go to China for my Masters still confused about the city though. So I'm an Environmental science graduate and during my search for a suitable program i came across the NorthEast Forestry University and found Harbin very interesting place to live and study. Having lived in a city my whole life i have this urge to push myself a little bit but almost all of the people I've met that have been to China only recommend "visiting it" as opposed to me actually "living there". To be honest i couldn't find much about the campus life there and how much can one truly trust pictures, God knows when taken. Cutting it short, what are the pro's and con's for foreign students living there? the state of the university campus in real time? how good are the English delivered programs etc. Pretty much your take on these kinda questions that are constantly popping into my head these days it will really help me decide. Thank you.
