FNAF World Tommy can use either for the kill. The machete is just more effective at removing Jason's mask.

Jason didn't go down to his knees cause the person wearing the sweater can't hit him, it breaks the trance. someone else has to hit him in the back as he's stunned then Tommy hits him. it's really pretty simple....

Bryce if you have jason's mask and you go into his shack jason won't know that you have the sweater.
Bryce don't run he can sense that by those circles if you walk he won't sense you only run if he's chasing you , this was my advice
