You know the crew always online controversy. I recently saw dbc 14 has also this issue. I can't play offline or in cricket 19 can't reach to big ant server. Now someday the server will shutdown, still 10 years support or delisted so why there is no offline mode by big ant. It has surely offline mode as it is pirated but the official version has no support for offline. Can you raise it by a ticket or contact Ross don't know if he banned me.
Offline is working fine for me in all the Big Ant games. You just need internet connection to start the game first as it is on steam (pc) Yours is not?
@RahulRants others I think work well even in offline. But the issue is initially it needs the internet. When I don't have it or the server shutdown will break the whole game. It is the same as the crew story.

@RahulRants but when you are batting you can't see at what speed opponent is bowling so you can't judge the ball and mistime it

@@sadabolt you can use any android emulator app to run it on Pc. Unfortunately since it is a swipe game, using controller is messy, I use mouse.

Not sure you will have to tinker with that app settings and see if it works for you on different settings. Trial and error
