want '06 liners and above maybe bc they want to train for a few years before debuting in a new group. but i really hope not many minors in a group since relevancy for many years is not about age. its about how they want to pursue their dream and how well they can stay in lane as in early years after debuting.
They still have many trainee from pledis, global plus audition, and dream academy from last year. Those girls need to debut too, hybe prefer younger age in this audition to train them longer and giving them chance to debut another year if they fail to joining debut line. Beside there sakura who debut in lsf while 24 years old , fuma 25 years old, and K 26 years old
to be fair if you want to take idol path as your career it better to debut that young, if your group flop you are still young and have enough time to pursue other job and if your group become successful then you hit the jackpot and already secure your bag for your retirement days

I fear JYP is throwing VCHA to the side and covering it up with the new debut/training of a group. Then with Hybe I feel like it might be a way to take the focus off Le serrefem and to make a group seem better than them.

even beyond that, I'll see boy groups still debut some like 97-99 the last year or two, but almost never in girl groups?? If they want a young looking group, there's girls who look late 20s when they're 19, and girls who look 20 when they're 27, so it shouldn't even matter! It should all be about talent, personality, work ethic, and fitting the group image.
