I have made several flags and you feel like you will never get the red and white done. Your are almost there girl. Just keep at it. Dale passed on a tip that someone gave her. I lent of the skein or thread of your choice at a time. On DMC on length of the thread is six threads and by the time you have stitched all of the thread of that pull you have accomplished much. I have done this on several projects that I have worked on and didn't think I would ever get finished and lo and behold I finished them. Christy, your birthday SAL is gorgeous. You did a great job. I’m using my Heifer Board. I keep a Fat Quarter Shop journal on each start which makes it easy to see which are finished and which are wips. So when you came up with the Heifer Board, I just picked 25 of the wips that I really wanted to get some progress on or finish.😊

Lots of stitching stuff! Woohoo! Look at the side of that Cohana weight and see if there is a little hole. If there is that is where you can sharpen a needle. I am not sure if I blinked or the weight didn't get into the camera view.
@@FlossBossinCousins I watched your video again and just caught sight of it. Your cousin called it at Pattern weight at 52:58 in your video. I think it was the nambu Iron paperweight. I bought the same thing only in the polished brass. The holes are big enough to keep my mechanical pencil and marking pencil in the holes next to my sewing machine so they are not rolling onto the floor.

Yes! I work on my wips "willy nilly, whenever I'm thinkin' about 'em" or whenever I spy one right handy. I also start whatever I feel like whenever I feel like too. So I have about 50 wips or so going. I d k & I sure d c to count 'em. It's nobody's worry or business, not even mine! 😂 I stitch to lose stress not gain it.
